Mulligans
If you just loved Hunterstone under Rastakhan’s Rumble and you don’t want the Midrange Hunter fun to end, this deck may be a way. The curve is pretty nice so you should be able to get some early game pressure and sustain it throughout the game. Even though you are losing your favorite 1+ 2 drop combo, with Dire Mole + Crackling Razermaw, the value generation may make up for a lot of that. The good news is against token decks, your Unleash the Hounds+Scavenging Hyena combo will be insane.
The bad news is if you are not able to win early, you will find that you’re favorite Death Knight, Deathstalker Rexxar is missing from your deck. The idea of this deck is value choice, if you believe you are going into a late stage game without rapid lethal, you have diverse Dire Frenzy targets to survive with:
Vs Aggro/Midrange decks with early game pressure: Vicious Scalehide
Vs Midrange with minion buffing/magnetic/deathrattle: Ironbeak Owl
Vs Murloc Shaman: Hungry crab *Note: if you’re not against murloc shaman you can still get great value from this card in combination with Hech-Clan Hogsteed
Vs Midrange/Control token decks: Springpaw
Vs Control with big threat minions: Vilebrood Skitter
Vs Control with armoring and healing: Tundra Rhino for extra burst
Hunting Party can also allow you to supercharge your hand value, but it is a pretty anti-tempo. Zul’jin should help you enter a finishing phase of the game.
