General Mulligans

Against matchups you expect Tarim to be useful in, keep him off the mulligan. Don't keep him if your hand is too heavy unless this is the case.

Spellbreaker vs Big Priest, Even Warlock

Uldaman is probably the most important card in matchups like Even Shaman where big minions are very often present. It may be tempting to bring a 5/5 down to a 3/3 but usually it is better to buff a silver hand recruit to a 3/3 instead. Against anything larger than 6/6 definitely hit that minion with the 3/3 downgrade.

Look for the good two drops generally, which is most often the four shown above. Flame Juggler decreases in usefulness based on how many minions your opponent plays. Only keep if you have to against control decks. Dire Wolf Alpha is inherently weak to board clears so play accordingly. Boneguard Lieutenant and Shielded Minibot are your go to, good-in-every-matchup plays. If that fails the good four drops are also optimal keeps for the most part.

62-65% winrate at Rank 5-10

Decent vs Big Priest, more so than you would expect.

Not so good vs Even Shaman, but it’s definitely doable. Picking up Silver Sword towards the later stages of the game will be the most important thing, but it is difficult to stay alive against 4 mana 7/7s and 0 mana 5/5s, but it’s not impossible.

Good vs Reno Warlock if defile and hellfire is played around.

Not so good vs Even Warlock but if you keep some burst damage around and a spellbreaker you can chip them down.

Odd Rogue is probably the most even matchup across these five, keep yourself alive over tempo, and they should run out of gas before you do. Kangor and Truesilver and most of the time Corpsetaker will allow you to heal for small amounts, which can make the difference. Getting Kings on a Kangor is game winning in these sort of matchups, and a corpsetaker with Windfury and Lifesteal can also benefit a huge amount. This is the strategy against all hyper aggro decks.

Probably tier 2 at the moment, severely underplayed for how useful it can be against decks like Big Priest.
