This deck is a very fun and meme-ish style of play, as it relies on (some) luck but with good synergies which give it the ability to be played in Standard.
I hope this deck will prove that Priest can be a good class, even if it lacks in most of the aspects of play.
Basic styleplay:
– Survive until you can get out any big minion – or spell – then resurrect it using Eternal Servitude or Onyx Bishop.
– It might be a little bit tricky at first as “Surviving” is not always easy, especially because you MUST NOT use too many spells to take out your minions. Most of your starting turns will have to be very well thought out in advance, and using from time to time your character as a taunt and waiting one more turn before using Dragonfire Potion.
Card replacements:
A few of the cards on the list are not 100% needed in the deck and can be replaced with cards of your liking
– 1x Holy Fire
– 1x Power Word: Shield
A good addition to the deck can be either Malygos or Shadowreaper Anduin or Forbidden Shaping or Shadow Visions, in this preffered order
Mulligans:
VS fast decks DO NOT change Holy Nova or Spirit Lash or Shadow Word: Horror as it will most definitely save you from a turn 4-6 game loss.
Worst case match-ups:
\Pirate anything / Murloc anything.
The Pirate/Murloc decks are in most cases too fast to handle, but a well combo’ed Holy Smite and Spirit Lash sometimes do the trick.
Second-to-worst case match-ups:
Exodia Mage, and Bloodreaver Warlock
These match-ups are one of the most horrible scenarios because you can very well win most part of the game and lose the last second (vs mage), or clear the warlock’s board with your last Dragonfire Potion and then he topdecks Bloodreaver Gul'dan
