“Why would you spend time and dust building a deck if you can play your opponent’s.”

On a serious note, most of priest’s stealing weapons are odd cost, which lets you play with Baku for an upgraded hero power. And although the deck has barely any synergy with the upgraded hero power, it’s still great for your own survivability.

Northshire Cleric, Crystalline Oracle and Psionic Probe may be your better starters though they provide very low tempo.

Mind Vision is very situational. Usually, you want to hold that card until you know your opponent has played most of his less useful cards. Still in a faster aggro match may be good to play on turn one or two to have the chance of getting a minion to play.

Turn three you get in the play. Curious Glimmerroot may be my to go turn three drop. Blackwald Pixie and Omega Medic, though wasting their abilities, are also great to be played just by their stats, in case you need that tempo (wich you will usually do). In case you don’t (like in combo matches or control), Thoughtsteal may be a better play. Also, you’ll never get to use Blackwald Pixie‘s ability in an aggro match.

Faceless Manipulator  is an instant steal letting you have that big minion your opponent just played. A combo i like to play is Faceless Manipulator into Shadow Word: Death which is like playing an eight mana Mind Control in an odd deck. It can also target your own withwood grizzly or Baku the Mooneater.

Psichic scream is one of the few aoe removals left to odd priest, but also the best one. It’s a spell you want to save most of the time, though playing in on turn seven may be the best play in certain games. It does not only removes all your opponent minions, but also let you steal minions that were already on board, even on your board.

Some variations of the deck i may consider:

– Replacing a Faceless Manipulator for another Witchwood Grizzly. Basically less meme, more safe.

– Replacing Witchwood Grizzly for another Blackwald Pixie. If youre feeling out of early minions.

– Adding Holy Nova to the deck. Honestly ive always thought 5 mana 2 aoe damage is way overcosted for a  control spell, but still is one of the few control tools left to odd priest.

– Adding Archbishop Benedictus. I simply not included it because almost nobody already has it, and i don’t think anyone will craft it to play the deck. But if you have it feel free to add him to the deck.

How I’ve felt some of the matches:

Warlock

Zoo Warlock: Though you may think warlock zoo as this deck worst nightmare it turns to be a very fun matchup and actually not that hard to beat. It has a lot of great stuff to steal you can even end up winning by tempo.

Even Warlock: His cards does actually sinergyse with your steal cards, by “hand” sinergies. Definitively not a bad matchup. Shadow Word: Death may be a key card.

Hunter

Spell Hunter: Also a very fun matchup, and a very favorable one.

Deathrattle Hunter: You can get to recruit Baku the Mooneater and Witchwood Grizzly, also you can get a lot of deathrattle sinergies. Faceless Manipulator may play a key role in this matchup.

Mage

Tempo mage: You can easily get to outspell your opponent, and thanks to your hero power you will hardly die to his hazzards.

Control mage: You can get to play frostlich jaina, otherwise the game will be really boring, Dragoncaller Alanna is also a good card to get.

Druid

Malygos Druid: A very fun match, as there is a high chance of getting your enemies combo before them. Azalina Soulthief is a good card there.

Token Druid: A little bit harder, but still you can get to play your opponents cards faster than them.

Hadronoxx Druid: A lot harder, as hadronoxx druid tend to be faster on their plays. Still you can manage to make serious shenaningans, like resummoning hadronoxx with  Twilight's Call.

Shaman

Shudderwock Shaman: A really hard matchup, even if you get to play shudderwock, it will hardly make the combo. Unless you get lucky and play smart.

Rogue

Odd Rogue: Psychic Scream is really strong vs odd rogue, also your hero power provides a very good survivality.

Shuffle Rogue: This matchup actually dissapointed me, it turned to be very boring and most of the time rogue wins.

Priest

Gallery Priest: May be a fun game, but certainly an unfavorable matchup.

Mecha’thun Priest: If you have previously played your crytalline oracles and you know your opponent’s about to do their combo, play Twilight's Call into Psychic Scream, then let your opponent die to fatige.

Paladin

Odd Paladin: Very hard matchup, your deck has very limited aoe to deal with this deck.

Mech Paladin: Very favorable matchup, its very susceptible to Psychic Scream, you can get to steal very good cards, and you also have your own zilliax to play.

Warrior

Control Warrior: Very bad matchup, you wont get to steal anything good from their deck, and you’ll be ending up dying to fatige, your best chance is stealing Dr. Boom mad genius or a random Mecha'thun. Still i would simply give up with this matchup.
