Mulligans

General Mulligans

The secrets in this deck are an attempt to limit or overt the damage of more aggressive-style decks and so are strongly recommended to mulligan for against the likes of Paladin or often other Hunters. If Stitched Tracker is drawn, mulliganeverything else (beside secrets and possibly the two low cost minions above if drawn) in an attempt to reduce the card pool for the Tracker, creating a greater probability to discover either Oozeling or Kathrena.

If you draw any of the beasts, mulligan them (although Witchwood Grizzly could be kept against aggro) as they simply occupy a card space for much of the game, and would be better recruited via either deathrattle card.

This deck works around the deathrattle of Kathrena and the effect of Seeping Oozeling, in a similar fashion to Possessed Lackey in Cubelock, to draw King Krush, Devilsaur or the 3/12 Witchwood Grizzly (as its battlecry is not implemented). Dire Frenzy is used to rotate these back into the deck and baleful banker to add copies of the Oozelings or Kathrena. Stitched tracker would ideally return Kathrena or Oozeling, although Witchwood Grizzly could be added if behind on the board.

Carnivorous cube would simply be too unreliable with the Oozeling so have decided to not run it. Play dead could well be incorporated into the deck as a replacement for a secret or Hunter’s Mark.
