The goal of the deck is to curve out and disrupt your opponent and finish with a big swing turn with Shudderwock . Because there are many cards that add value to your hand, you can often curve out a Mountain Giant and secure a winning state by turn four or five. There are a variety of tools such as Corpsetaker, Omega Defender, and Tol'vir Stoneshaper, to turn your Shudderwock into a massive threat. Shieldbreaker is very useful as a  cheap silence for Lich King, Zilliax, Spikeridged Steed, but is more importantly, a repeatable silence that will never ever cancel your Shudderwock‘s battlecry, or target your own minions. Between Hagatha the Witch and the various value battlecries, you are not likely to run out of gas against a control deck. Bog Slosher is an excellent combo play with freeze cards as well as Stonehill Defender, as well as an elemental synergy enabler.
