Mulligans
Very consistent deck versus every class popular between ranks 25-10 (as of 1/11/2018)
I would argue it can get difficult to play versus Odd Warrior, Taunt Druid and Even Shaman but I saw very few in my climb. The only losses were to these decks and sometimes a very lucky Academic Espionage Rogue.
Does not need the Deathstalker Rexxar Hero power to win games so far, as most games rank 25-10 are Tempo based and only the “Deal 2 damage to all enemy minions” effect is needed. Needless to say Deathstalker Rexxar has won me a couple games because it is arguably the best Hunter card.
Most of this decks power comes from the Mulligan stage. If you know what to Mulligan versus certain match-ups, it can win you the game from turn 1 (turn 2 if you get Prince Keleseth in opening hand).
You don’t have much card draw in this deck so try to play your resources wisely. For example you might need to tempo out a Terrorscale Stalker in a tempo match-up if you don’t have anything to play.
I tried different variations of this deck with double Hunter’s Mark and Charged Devilsaur. This was by far the most successful variation.
Deck Tips:
-Odd Rogue/Odd Paladin/Zoo Warlock: Mulligan for Prince Keleseth and Candleshot ( 80% of my games were versus these decks).
-Odd Warrior/Control Warlock: Mulligan for Deathstalker Rexxar and keep deathrattle minions and enablers like Devilsaur Egg and Terrorscale Stalker.
-Even Warlock: Try to get a Spider bomb or Hunter’s mark and Candleshot combination to kill off an early Mountain Giant.
-Druid/Mirror Match/Even Shaman: Mulligan for Prince Keleseth, Tracking and/or Void Ripper.
-Try to avoid “coining” Prince Keleseth since you have nothing to play on turn 2.
–Void Ripper allows for some surprising combos with Witchwood Grizzly.
