Mulligans
General Mulligans
Mountain Giant is always an amazing tempo play in the beginning, especially with the coin.
Vulgar Homunculus is a valuable taunt in the early game, and a good trigger for spellstone.
Lesser Amethyst Spellstone is your main healing and removal. Always try to upgrade it as fast as possible.
Aggro Mulligans
Defile is your go to board clear since Hellfire was removed from the deck. Keep it until the perfect opportunity to wipe your opponents board.
Bloodmage Thalnos is incredibly good with handlock and Defile. It usually clears the board and cycles itself
Hooked Reaver will help you stabilize as soon as your Defile triggers. Good to keep if you suspect aggro.
Control Mulligans
Lesser Amethyst Spellstone is your main removal tool. Nothing new to add here.
Dread Infernal is your big threat. It damages the board, triggers Spellstone, and charges Guldan. It's good to have just in case.
Damaged Stegodon isn't good by itself. Its strength lies in comboing off of missile launcher and/or Shroom Brewer, providing a huge threat.
This deck is meant to beat aggro with great tempo plays, just like an ordinary evenlock, with the additional win condition of the mechathun combo. In order to activate the combo, you must use both Galvanizers to buff Mechathun, and then use ten Mana and 4 health to play Mechathun, Bloodbloom, and Cataclysm. Keep in mind that you must be in fatigue. This alternative win condition will save you from long control games or slow combo decks.
