The low cost of the Spirit of the Raptor makes it well suited for some early card draw. When used with your Hero Power, Claw and Bite, provide some early card draw and board clear. Since your goal is to survive and draw your whole deck, these cards are ideal to get that process started.

This archetype was made unplayable in standard with the introduction of the Year of the Dragon. As a result, a fix was needed.

Playing this deck works a little differently from previous incarnations. What has stayed the same is that the goal is the same. Mill your deck, while staying alive, until you can summon and kill Mecha’thun in the same turn. What is different is that there is less armor to gain and your character has greater ability to draw cards and attack.

Claw, Bite and Spirit of the Raptor work well together to provide some armor, board clear and card draw. Floop can copy Spirit, if necessary.

Mark of the Wild replaces Barkskin to provide minion boosting, plus a way to get rid of the Spirit of the Raptor minions by giving them taunt.

The rest of the deck works the same.

For the final play, you need the following cards as the only cards in your hand:

2x (0) Innervate
2x (1) Biology Project
1x (1) Crystal Power
1x (3) Voodoo Doll
1x (10) Mecha’thun

First, summon Mecha’thun. Then, play both Innervates. Next, play both Biology Projects. Next, play Voodoo Doll and use its deathrattle mechanic on Mecha’thun. Lastly, cast Crystal Power to destroy the Voodoo Doll, killing the doll first, followed by activating its kill effect on Mecha’thun.

This is literally the only way I could find to play Mecha’thun and kill it in the same turn, preserving the original purpose of the deck. I am open to improvements and suggestions.
