Wow. This deck sucks. No way anyone made legend with this deck. Its impossible. It loses to basically everything. I keep swapping out tech cards to deal with the extreme BS on ladder and it never works out right. There is NO removal. There isnt enough healing. The damage you deliver gets blocked by tants and other stuff out there. Aggri decks kill you by turn 5. Duskbreaker only saves you for about 1-2 turns. Spitefulsucks now because everyone runs that stupid Voodoo card that even kills Tyranus without any trouble. Even so, most decks dont care about your spiteful BS since they just remove it or ignore and smash your face. This deck is like Tier-58. Total Joke.

Not a bad deck but especially against „bad opponents“ it enrages me like nothing else on this planet. People who totally misplay all their cards and you can see they just throw in stuff in the order they draw their cards. If your opponent does proper trades and doesn’t mindlessly go face it’s a good game usually but if you encounter some dimwit with drawluck it is really frustrating because you don’t really have removal in this deck. I had eight (EIGHT) games IN A ROW where I mulliganed mind Control only to draw it as 4th card. Then no Duskbreaker until turn 8 against a paladin, what a joke. But not a lot of removal or taunt in this, so be careful what you play.

Yeah – this is a tough deck to work with. Im still messing with card swaps and such. I put in a Primordial drake versus the Mossy Horry since an 8/8 dragon with 2 damage is pretty good too. You need the dragon synergy here or a lot of card are duds like Diskbreaker and Twilight Acolyte. I also run two spell breakers since this is a minion based deck and you are delivering damage using those minions. Taunts kill your progress so you need to be able to break through. Having Keleseth in your opener helps so much! I also feel like conceding when you draw one or both Mind Controls early. Spiteful is a complete garbage card without being to pull anything big.

I almost wonder if the deck would benefit from removing the Spitefuls and replacing one mind control also? That would open up 3 slots for removal or healing like Divine Hymn and maybe that 1 damage lifesteal spell? Or maybe a good old Shadow word Death? I dunno. Im going to keep trying though. Lets keep this deck discussion going! Its fun and different! 🙂

Extremely good substitution ideas there, I like those. I think spiteful might be over, too. Thanks for sharing. Currently thinking about rebuilding this deck, too. If you find anything worthwhile, please share your decklist here!

I actually left the spitefulls in the deck. The issue is that this deck does struggle against Aggro but that’s just how it’s going to be. You need good early draws and a strong board to deal with them. It’s possible, just isn’t a great matchup for the deck. It’s fun to play which is key for me.

I don’t run countess ashmore and got rid of the pumpkin guy and instead run two spellbreakers sinc this meta really requires silencing cards! Otherwise, I’m still running it as is. I’ll keepntweaking though. I want to make this deck work!

So I have been fiddling with LiW/Keleseth for a few days and i came up with a very similar list, but instead of the countess ashmore and mossy horror I have 2 primordial drakes and instead of swift messanger i have saronite chain gangs. It works pretty well too, but I imagine you have the swifts in there to make ashmore have more value

Tried your suggestions, seems a bit better, extra dragons sure do help for “if you have a dragon” cards, but i kept swift messengers to have quick removal and instead i switched pumpkin peasant for stonehill defender, since it did not felt like it was fitting it, especially since ashmore is gone.

I play a variation of this deck without Countess Ashmore, Nightmare Amalgam, or Mossy Horror. And even when I don’t pull Keleseth early, it still wins more often than not. I play a little more taunt heavy (Tortollan and Stonehill Defender) early in the game. And I often find myself mid-game with a choice of Spiteful Summoner or Lady in White, which is a good choice to have. Good thing about this deck versus other Keleseth decks I’ve played in the past, is that it isn’t necessarily dependent on Keleseth to win. I’ve had trouble against druids running big taunt decks, as duskbreaker can’t quite break through spreading plague and ironwood golems. But other than that, this deck is pretty solid.

I must be a really bad player. I have all the cards but I simply can’t scape from 50/50 all games. I can’t climb out from Rank 16.

I feel as though I’m also struggling to be consistent with this deck.

I lose every time to Quest Warrior – can’t even make a dent on those guys. I feel that any half decent hunter deck wrecks me and Moss hunter is just far too late in the game to be useful.

Would love some.tips from anyone running this successful past r10

Been running this deck for about 2 days now -Chameleos +Pumpkin Peasant and am getting around an 80% win rate on the ladder. vs, Face Hunter it is hit or miss depending on mulligan, Shammy & Drood current meta decks can be close. Warrior is a piece of cake usually, and the new Cubelock is generally a solid challenge. Lady is not really required on turn 6 if you are holding a Spiteful – but you feel nerfed if you pull 2 Mind Controls on a bad draw. As far as a priest deck goes, it’s fun to play, especially if turn 2 Kel and coin into Lady on turn 5. Most people concede by turn 8 or 9 if you hit good draws.

awesome deck I hit 12 from 19 in 1.5 hour and make 10 win streak . I think only bad againts demonlock it’s very bad mach up but destroy all other mach up .

This deck performs terribly against thief rogue who runs two saps. By not having prince keleseth in the first two turns, the chance of winning becomes slim.

I don’t know why this deck is so popular. I’m losing by turn 5 to in your face decks and b.s. huntards that are now Rogues.

Chameleos seems good in theory but is he worth the slot right now? Im not sold on crafting him yet. With the undefined ladder atm it seems hit and miss but knowing what cards your opponent is holding helps counter.

I believe this with a deathrattle engine could be a little better. But the mashup of the two is its own thing.

Id love some pointers on potential cards to remove from this.

I did -chameleos +2nd pumpkin peasant, really strong deck, pumpkin peasant helps in the aggro matchup by being a 2/4 lifesteal half of the time, and post lady in white the 4/4 lifestyle is sick. I’m just happy I get to use my golden countless ashmore.

Y have Nightmare, wouldn’t phantom be better?

    • Bladeofsteel
      April 12, 2018 at 9:40 pm

Nightmare is a dragon, that helps the dragon count brining it up to 7, which is the preferred amount.
