Immortal Control

Has the quest and a lot of control options and rounds into some late game threats with several win conditions.

Possible win conditions:

• Shadowreaper Anduin  + Alexstrasza + Mind Blast to burst them down over a few turns.
• Prophet Velen (copied from Spirit of the Dead) + Vivid Nightmare + 2x Mind Blast for a 40 damage turn.
• Make up to 6 Amaras and outlast your opponent and beat them up with 8/8s, Velen, Alex, etc.

A note about Rotten Applebaum:

This card is very underrated in quest decks. It was kept out of APM priest due to its 5 mana cost, but is really good in any deck not running Hemet. 4/5 taunt + heal 5 is excellent in this meta and has synergy with Twilight's Call and Vivid Nightmare that helps your usual mid game plan (a.k.a., survive until Amara drops).

In games against aggressive decks, look to curve Dead Ringer -> Gilded Gargoyle -> coin + Rotten Applebaum. The healing will frequently keep you alive into the mid game, and then if you can stick a Seance on Amara it’s usually GG.
