ABOUT DECK

Hi guys I think I just broke the meta. I have great success with this deck. My winrate at the start of the seaason is insane 72%!

29 games won and 8 games lost. I climbed faster than all streamers on twitch from rank 6 after 3 days to rank 1.

This is  fast mid-ranged deck with burst as finisher. It is kinda highlander deck for easier activation of Zephrys, but with 2 copies of core cards. This deck has very high potential for turning game game over due to: Captain Hooktusk, Vendetas, Toggwagle and Zephrys. You also dont run out of steam while keeping tempo and being aggressive.

COMBOS AND MECHANICS

Steal cards = activation of vendetas and fence while making sure you dont run out of steam. You try to sit on your stolen cards as long as possible until you use your vendetas

Serrated tooth = pretty strange choice huh? it is not! it removes annoying early minions and you always save it for ticket scalpers if possible

Captain Hooktusk = Huge tempo swing, high potential of card draw with ticket scalpers and cursed castaway. Won me a lot of games by itself

Zephrys the great = This deck is designed to be able to activate zephrys somewhere around midgame which is often exactly when you need it, playing it for tempo on 2 is also pretty good you have other win conditions

Heistbaron Togwaggle = mainly used for card draw, you always try to save one lackey for this combo if possible

Mulligans:

against aggro: backstab, crystallizer, pharaoh cat, pilfer, serrated tooth, zephrys for tempo, miscreant, si7 agent, snip snap, blink fox, vendeta

against control: pretty much the same, but you can be little more greedy with keeping hooktusk in hand for example it pays off

Finishers: Leeroy, eviscerate, hooked scimitar, zephrys

This deck is definitely getting ladder play since this post. I ran into it against two different players last night while I was using a Highlander Hunter deck. I won both times on turn 8, but I could see how it could pose issues for most of the field. It had already started to swing tempo its way and if I didn’t run Leeroy in my HH deck…I wouldn’t have been able to do enough damage quickly enough to recover. I might actually build this. Great Job.
