Mulligans

Aggro Mulligans

Try to get the cards that can wipe-large boards.

Combo Mulligans

Against mage, Questless or Quest try to destroy their deck before they get all the essential pieces. Mage is the only one I've met but I guess it is the same for others.

Control Mulligans

Depends on the matchup for example against Warlock you can assume the winner is the one who gets's Gul'dan first.

Welcome to my short C’thun Control Warlock deck guide or explanation. Whatever. So this deck was something I created out of an idea when I was grinding ranked with my normal Control Warlock. So I and my friend OtbAcess created this deck. I’ve never really played C’Thun because I started the game after the release of C’thun. However, I created this deck and I am now on a winning streak in Rank 9. If you have any suggestions for improvements post them in the comment section, Thanks!

Playstyle:

The deck is played (mostly) like any other Control Warlock. Tap until you die, etc. You know the drill. However, in this version, once you’ve put up your Voidlord drop 1 or 2 Twilight Elder. If you feel really greedy you can even faceless it, but that should mostly not be necessary.

Cards (explanations):

Beckoner of Evil is in the deck because it gives you an extra bonus if the enemy would be able to delete your Twilight Elder too quickly soo your C'Thun would be weak, but Beckoner still holds it viable. You should be expecting at least a 13/13 C’Thun without a huge commitment.

Twilight Elder is what fuels your C'Thun. Self-explanatory.

Doomcaller is what I use to revive your C'Thun when it’s dead, this often happens in the fatigue/last cards stage of the game. Even if your C'Thun would be polymorphed or hexed you still have a solidly stated 8-drop minion.

Card exchanges possible:

Skulking Geist can be implemented into the deck by removing Faceless Manipulator. However, if you do this 1 Dark Pact can be removed for something like Disciple of C'Thun or another Beckoner of Evil.

I have not had time to try other variants and cards in the deck, but use your imagination and try out new things. Leave a comment if you think I should change something. Thanks for reading, hope you much success.

I like it but so far switched out the dirty rat for a gnomeferatu to combat mill rogue. Other than that its a lot of fun and can be competitive

Little unnecessary, mill rogue is hardly played in this meta and dirty rats can be very useful against cubelocks, spiteful priests etc. if played well.
