Mirage Blade

Some people think this card wont see play because of cutlass, but I think it’s the otherway arround. Because of this quest cutlass and other weapons wont see play. Cutlass is to vunerable to weapon removal, wich is why it’s a weak deck currently. In addition if you have a 5 atack cutlass and you kill a 5 atack minion it’s the same as being immune to the damage. Allso you need to play the other class cards to gain durability wich often is a huge draw back and on top of that Cutlass makes your hero power useless. This quest removes the large RNG part that you suffer from when playing a cutlass deck. Since you dont even need to play the shitty class cards.

I think we will see a meta, where every midrange/control rogue will run the quest package, and only the super agressive rogue decks wont run this.
I mean you can have a:
Quest package + Shadow of Death & leeroy rogue package deck
Quest package + Mech C’thun package deck
Quest package + Lackey & leeroy agressive package deck.
Quest package + Mogu Cultist package deck.

Interessting though is that you could actualy still have a cutlass deck and run this quest. Since the quest and Cutlass have a similiar package it’s just 1 card and your openent will just use his harrison & oozes to destroy your Mirage Blade. So instead of running 2 cutlasses you cut 1 for the quest instead and use cutlass in the endgame to heal yourself up. But I think any other package that instantly wins you the game like Mech C’thun is stronger.

But it does not count as healing right? XD That would make the card even more OP for the priest quest…

Activate the Obelisk

This is so scary, now inner fire priest does not even need big minions anymore, they can just go with what ever card that survives.
I think inner fire or divine spirit is going to hall of fame during this expansion….

Reborn is not Deathrattle so dont assume it works like Deathrattle just because it’s similiar.

Wretched Reclaimer

Wait, if you use this on a reborn minion, does the target reborn minion not just lose it’s reborn because it dies? Reborn is not the same as Deathrattle. Yes you would get a full health version and a 1 health version, BUT I think booth wont have reborn anymore.

I guess testing to find out…. Unless someone can confirm this?

Siamat

It’s 9 mana if you count the hero power for double battle cry.

Flame Ward

I guess this card will alow Quest Secret Mage as new deck?
I m not to fond of old secret mage since it was so insane agressive and dissabled your plays at the same time. But I since all the agressive secret mage cards are gone so it will be a mid-range secret mage deck wich is ‘ok’ I guess?

This secret counters quest warrior reward lol. But enemy number 1 is murloc shammy. XD

6-6 al’akir that cant go face? XD

Just because Plot Twist + Elekk can go infinite that’s like 1 out of 20 for the way to win. Most of the time you go for Dorian combo or Fel Lord Betrug combo. Allso when up against control war, it becomes pointless for them to kill Dr. Morrigan because she will endlessly trade places with ‘Conjured Mirage’ Combined with the quest reward you have a infinite wall, and a 5-5 that endlessy comes back. It might just be that a Plottwist deck will no longer even need Elekk in their deck.
Dont forget it’s even great against agro.

Conjured Mirage

OMG this card is going to make a plottwist deck from a T4 into a T2 deck. It’s still hard to say how impactfull the quest is going to be for a plottwist deck. But I m sure it will outpower a Control Warrior.

Serious this is the missing link! One of the problems a plottwist warlock has is that to many minions are 6 mana cost. And it has huge issues against agro. Being able to delay them a turn and make them invest more into the board is a huge deal. And it’s downside even counters the card pool issue you will have once the quest is complete.
And Just because a plottwist warlock ‘can’ go infinite with the Elek combo you wont survive even against a control Warrior if you end up waiting forever to draw booth plottwists. Not to mention their is currently not a good enough 4 slot taunt.

Finelly a card I have been waiting for!

Dark Pharaoh Tekahn

LoL, I so agree. A zoo warlock only has max 6 lackey’s and in the late game your probably going to play Rafaam to stay in the game against control wich removes all your other lackey’s. And against other decks the game is allready over before you get to draw those other lackey creating cards.

If your up against big priest, and you still have not killed him at arround turn 7 or so. This quest reward probably wont help you anymore, I think.

Livewire Lance

It’s not a card for control warrior, nor is the quest. Booth are midrange/agro type cards.

Warlock allready has plot twist. XD But yes I agree with you, atm this expansion starts to look more like it’s made for the Wild format.

Hack the System

Tbh i dont know the Hobart / Handbuff. But it seems this expansion is gonna do much for wild I think.
Anyway, the thing about aggressive decks is they want to seal the game at turn 6 or even before if they can. If the game drags on longer they lose. But if you can summon 2x 4-3 after turn 6 can you still seal the game? It’s hard to say because the control decks still outpower you at that point, BUT they probably are so low on health that to deal with the constant threath and stay alive might be to hard for them.
BUT just by adding this quest, your aggressive deck instantly becomes a midrange deck. Well Atleast you dont have to run 1-cost minions…. That makes your draw’s slightly better.

Colossus of the Moon

I dunno yet how reborn works in a plot twist type of summoning deck, but that’s the only deck that could have this work, specialy once the quest is complete.

Other then that this is just a buff to cyclone mage…. Removing 2 of these when it pops out from a Sea Giant…. O dear, please blizzard make a 1-1 battlecry summon a 10-10 minion…. Or make Sea giant cost 11…

Hack the System

I think this quest is more for aggressive decks, but the issue is can aggressive decks handle the loss of turn 1 and a card? In exchange for mid late game value….

Hack the System

So the question is, is this quest to slow for pirate warrior? Or any other aggressive Warrior deck?
So you lose 1 card and turn 1 at the start and your allready burning through your cards pretty fast. BUT, being able to summon 2x 4-3 each turn is really good after turn 6 when your in top deck mode. In a way that’s even more powerfull then Jaraxxas hero power.
So the old Shaman murloc quest Never really took off. But I say this quest is much better, so it depends if this expansion gives good aggressive warrior cards?

Anway this quest is not bad it’s just that Dr.Boom is better for any other deck except aggressive decks.

As for wild, maybe a pirate warrior, with a package of hate cards against big priest? XD Just flood their graveyard with garbage minions, wich you smash down with your weapon. XD (though normal pirate warrior is probably better)

Anubisath Warbringer

You need to cheat this out of your hand or deck, playing it as it is for 9 mana, can lose you the game, unless your ahead.
