It doesn’t happen often, but when this guy appears as a choice from Zarog’s Crown… it’s worth of an EVIL laugh.

“Who the king? I THE KING!”

I love this card as its a buff to shirvalah otk paladin!
The card is great for getting it out of conjurers, that means more mage, which means less warrior, which ultimately means otk pala has gret time reducing 10/10 boards to 1/1s

This’ a scary card in Wild for Resurrect Priest. Obviously not as good in Standard, but still something to fear. 3/5

I’d still play this in a resurrect priest deck even though that’s probably not even remotely good. Getting this off of a cc on sea giant is gross. Really it’s just a mage card. 2/5

I think it’s undeniable that its pure statline is just stupidly powerful value, just that playing one card with no immediate effect on turn 10 is too much of a loss in tempo.

    Mage gets buffed lmao

Gah stop buffing conjurers mage we get it blizzard has a hard-on for mage at the moment.

Why do people keep saying this? Conjurers Calling in mountain Giant won’t get you it and I don’t know of any other 10 drop mage has to use this on

Sea giant is a 10 cost which cost goes down more minions on the board.

Add Khadgar to the mix and it’s GG.

What hillarious though is when sea giant makes Hakkar then mage is goin crap crap crap since runs decent amount of draw power. I got to laugh at guy who killed himself with it while I was playing warrior.

Wait, does hadgar doubles up the summon from reborn minions. Because if so we have a problem

        July 26, 2019 at 11:25 am

Khadgar says your cards that summon minions reborn cards say that it resummons another copy with 1 health so I would assume that it might summon an extra 10/1 and apparently each reborn is just 1 health remaining version so ressurects would bring it back at full 10/10 instead of 10/1 if tagged the copy with it’s own reborn effect. So it will just have to wait till some mage tests the mechanic or someone who knows tells us.

I would deffinetly include this in Big Shaman. Other than that its a nice high roll for any card that makes you summon a random 10 mana minion (10 mana minion Conjurer’s Calling / 10 Armor Heavy Metal! / 9 mana minion Big Bad Voodoo)

This is fantastic in decks that can cheat it out, such as Big Warrior and Big Shaman. 4/5

Probably pretty nice to put into a muckmorpher eureka shaman and getting this of conjurer’s calling is just stupidly strong

I guess it leaves a 10/1 after you betrug/plot twist it out, but I don’t think you want a 10 mana 10/10 that does nothing when it comes down in warlock especially that late in the game. I guess you could draw it with the quest reward and get a 0 mana 10/10 divine shield reborn, but that’s just talking about every big statted minion.

I dunno yet how reborn works in a plot twist type of summoning deck, but that’s the only deck that could have this work, specialy once the quest is complete.

Other then that this is just a buff to cyclone mage…. Removing 2 of these when it pops out from a Sea Giant…. O dear, please blizzard make a 1-1 battlecry summon a 10-10 minion…. Or make Sea giant cost 11…

Lovely, I will hate shaman more, and people experimenting with this is free wins in other decks.

If there’s ever a consistent way to cheat this out this card will be super strong, as of now it’s a bit too slow.

This makes me think about Big Warrior though, imagine using dimensional rift and getting two of these or even getting it out with the Boomship. This is also potentially pretty insane with resurrection priest. That being said I wouldn’t rate this 2 stars just yet, it deserves a solid 3 stars at least.

I think the reason why Colossus of the Moon is going to have a bad wrap is just being it’s a clunky big minion with impressive stats, and that’s it. In terms of it does, unless you had a Last Resort Reason, It’s on paper a “better” Deathwing, because it could as a 10 Mana 10/13 by default. But as soon as you start adding in that it hates being destroyed (even with the help of Reborn and Deathrattle) It’s more or less likely just a Poorman’s ZIlliax in my opinion. Which is a Shame, because I can easily see Priest, for example, loving a card like this. 3 Stars. (But hoping it can go up to 4 or even 5 at the end when we get the full experience.)

With that out of the way, I do want to say that Khadgar Mage’s Sea Giant is now Buffed like Crazy because It now has a chance to turn into this big scary thing, which more or less like is going to be a GG for Mage. So do be cautious when you actually look at Colossus. It may be just a Filler Card for now, But I’m sure that Mage will be one of the first to experiment with Colossus.

Um, why are you comparing this card to zilliax?

      • EksSkellybur
        July 26, 2019 at 11:15 am

Zilliax is a 5 Mana “Do everything” Card, and I thought that Colossus of the Moon was a 10 Mana version of it. It’s Big and it’s powerful, but it’s slow and clunky.

          July 26, 2019 at 9:20 pm

Zilliax gives crazy tempo and survive-ability with all the effects it has. This card has no taunt, lifesteal or rush so it’s hardly swinging the game against aggro decks trying to kill you. Against control it’s probably better but useally i’d rather play a zilliax on turn 10 than this vs aggressive decks. Its a a 5 mana do everything card, but this a 10 mana do nothing card.

          July 27, 2019 at 1:18 pm

The only similarities you can draw between those two cards are divine shield, that’s literally it. Zilliax is 5 mana, deal 3 damage to an enemy minion, restore 3 health AND put a 3/2 body with taunt with lifesteal on the board. Not to mention it’s a mech, the best use of this card is Sea giant into conjurers calling and hope you get it.

No way I would play this in my deck but getting off Conjurers or something would be nice

Conjurer’s Calling + Sea Giant buff.

The main problem with large minions is that they’re removed quite easily now. This gets around that problem in two ways, divine shield and reborn. Still though, it doesn’t really have an immediate effect on the board, and I do waste my whole turn to play it. 3/5

Maybe this could work in a clone resurrect priest deck? Summon it using zerek’s cloning gallery and revive with cards like mass resurrection or catrina muerte. I don’t think it will work because it is too difficult to bring out.

I think the problem with reborn minion is when you resurrect it there is a chance that the resurrected minion didn’t have reborn effect anymore
