As a cards alone is not that great BUT it gives a lot of survivability to Rexxar DK if you get it with a high attack minion, just because of that is a 3 star for me.

It has a really good pay off if it procs but a decent player can know if is this card by just going face with a minion.
It can work as a psychological spell though and make people thing is this one instead of a “hit face” secret. It’s just good that it exist for mind games with secrets.
But just by hitting face with a weak minion(thing they will do anyway to test for other secrets) eliminates 90% of secrets, ( the others being snake, venomstrike trap and snipe, which are rare/ underwhelming).

Something to mension is that Rok’delar becomes more consistent and overall better since infest, smugglers crate and hidden cache are leaving.
The bad thing is that on the hunt and call of the wild are leaving too and dinomancy and stampede are still in standard.

I could see this card as a standard version of Jeeves. Jeeves is cheaper and has a better effect but you are giving up that for a more stickier minion, and with the powerful arsenal of taunt minions aggro druid has I can see this surviving multiple turn.
Still the card feels a little mediocre but it could also work with the “hand size archetype” they are making.

This is supposed to be aggro oriented, but how likely are you to have a big hand in turn 4 as aggro?

After the rotation the deck will not lose a lot of cards but the ones that is losing have a big impact.
Here are the list:

-Cat Trick = not a big loss but is still really good against control decks since is pretty much a 2 mana huffer. Not that serious though, a good replacement would be snake trap or venom strike trap for minion generation. Freezing trap can also be good, but it doesn’t provide the flexibility and tempo that a minion provides.

-Barnes/Y’Shaarj combo = this is the most powerful one, with this leaving the deck loses in win rate significantly. It could be swapped easily with To my Side x2 and still have a good game plan but is not a win condition by itself, so it would need to fall back to the secret/spellstone and value generating weapon gameplay. Which is still really good but not OP by any means.

ATM I am using a pure minion less deck to climb and is resulting really well. Just changed Barnes/Y’Shaarj combo with To m Side x2 and trick cat with venomstrike trap x1 and a Crushing walls. Give it a try if you can.

The first time I saw this deck thijs got unlisenced apothecary from wandering monster into snake trap XD

For those who are facing a lot of warlocks you can cut a tundra rhino for a Spellbreaker, or if you seriously want to beat them cut rhino entirely or a flanking strike for the other Spellbreaker.

*For the budget/f2p players who want to try this deck.

-Pirate package(patches, southsea captain/deckhand)= more beast synergy.
I.e= scavenger hyena, dire wolf alpha, bear shark, unleash the hounds(1 copy is more than enough).

-Bittertide Hydra= cobalt scalebane, bonemare(more late game but is less favorable).

-Corridor Creeper= disenchant other cards and craft immediately. (joking aside, tar creeper, the little brother of the creeper family can be useful but the deck won’t be as effective as with corridor).

Craft Corridor Creeper first, then the pirate package in this order (if u have the dust)= patches, captain, deckhand, then the Bittertide for last (or if you don’t have enough dust for the pirate package).

I agree, I think he used up all his luck in the early games. Still he played really good I think he will go farther next year.

Yes, that’s a hard match up to go against with all those Big 9 and taunts around. You can’t rush them down because they have a lot of heals and you can’t out-value them late game since DK is a thing.

Me think taunt is cheat and taunt need nerf.(SMOrc)

On the flip side this deck shits on tempo mage 😀

Spell Hunter is viable. Just imagine how the game is with that in mind.
