The Hearthstone Championship Tour for 2017 is finally in the books and we've got a new champion in Tom60229! His first place victory has earned him a champion's immortality next to Firebat, Ostkaka, and Pavel. The $250,000 USD and trophy he got are also nice to have!

If you participated in the Choose Your Champion promotion then you have some Kobolds and Catacombs packs coming your way! You get one pack for participating and one additional pack for every victory your Champion got during the tournament!

Packs are finally being sent out, login to check your account! They are usually sent out in waves, so it might take a bit for you to receive them.

    I am really happy with my champion Surrender.
    Even though he didn't win the whole thing he played exceptionally well every single game and the semis just came down to drawing patches in both rogue games while top drew prince step on 2 vs his priest .
    Absolutely nothing he could have done about it, even though he played perfectly.

      I agree, I think he used up all his luck in the early games. Still he played really good I think he will go farther next year.
      He almost got nicknamed the Faker(The last Korean overlord of Lol) of Hearthstone.

      Surrender was amazing, i really thought he would win the whole thing. But unfortunately luck was not on his side. Those 2 patches draws were probably part of the reason he lost. But he played his best, nothing to do about it

    Its funny cuz when i worked out some match up stats frozen and tom were my top 2 to win except frozen was more favoured off deck type averages. Not including possible ban choices and individual class fights. But still pretty happy with my deduction woo 5 packs!

    My champion ShtanUdachi brought the exact same deck line up, except some tech cards were different. Oh well, 3 packs is not bad. Also, it was fun to see him 3-0 Purple :)

    Depressing when the guy who brought the boring meta lineup wins because of a turn 2 10/10 Cleef and top decked ramp. My saltiness has nothing to with the fact that I chose Fr0zen to win, I don't need the packs. I'm just sick of ingenuity and brilliant plays getting edged out by net decking and rng.

      Well yah, what did you expect... the game is 50% rng so every player has pretty much equal chance anyway. There's no right way to pick.

      Huh? Tom made lots of interesting choices, like keeping a ten cost spell in opening hand, which is a very unusual choice that paid off for him. He came back from 2-0 and won three games. Both players played well and at world champion levels of skill, Tom came out on top. That's how competitions work

    I think we will probably get them sometime this week most likely when a tavern brawl comes out... they are working on the game anyway so it's probably the best time to send out packs. Not sure when they will come in though but i think that is how they've done it in the past.

    I really wish they wouldn't make these kind of posts. all it does it get peoples hopes up and then there checking every day hoping for something that in all honesty comes about 1-2 weeks after the tournament is over.
