Yeah, Edwin HAS to be in the mini-set. But I’m not so sure about a Hero card, I think that he will be a regular Legendary minion.

What do you mean by “instead of other content”? For me it looks like we’re getting them on top of other content.

But I agree that it seems too early. It’s probably because Mercenaries was delayed a lot, it was most likely meant to get released a couple weeks earlier, so the gap between Mercenaries and the mini-set was supposed to be bigger.

I’m from Poland, so $25k prize for the first place is also a lot here. Many people don’t earn that much in 3 years. Even 6k for Top 8 is like a yearly minimum wage.

But then again, the prizes aren’t even that high considering how hard it is to place in Top 8 – first you need to get through the elimination tournaments or finish Top 16 on the ladder, then you need to fight against 400+ players in the main tournament itself. That’s why so many pros have quit competitive and started full time streaming instead – it’s just a much safer way to get the money.

I’ve used “rebalanced” because I don’t know the exact new rates. If it’s lower at low level bounties, but e.g. 90% at higher level then it’s more like a rebalance than a straight up nerf.

Although it’s very possibly a straight up nerf (reducing them in low level bounties, while not increasing in higher level), I’m waiting for people to gather some data about that.

They just announced that Dual Class Arena is coming on November 2, so not just yet, but soon (2 weeks from now).

Oh yeah, I mentioned Rexxar in the description, said that he’s a good fit for the comp, but I think that Anacondra is still slightly better in the starting line-up so Rexxar is more like a bench material, so you can pull him out when you need to focus more on damage.

I haven’t tested Blink Fox myself so can’t speak about that. But stealing enemy abilities sounds pretty fun.

I’m pretty sure they don’t really take Wild into consideration when printing new cards. And as the practice shows, you can always ban them if something goes wrong, haha.

I also think that Bloodbloom was much more dangerous than Stealer – some broken Bloodbloom combos could happen as early as Turn 1 with Coin, or T2 without. Stealer decks at least gave some more time for the opponent to react.

You know what, I wouldn’t be surprised. At least they didn’t ignore the issue completely, because it really sucks to get resources that are just useless.

Not sure what you mean by “easier”, the Level 8 Barrens Heroic one is very easy once you run Mercs that are level 30, you one-shot a lot of the opponents. Heroic adds some difficulty, of course, but it’s still level 8.

And if I remember correctly, Heroic Air Elementals is the one guaranteeing a Mystery closest to the start (it’s 3rd encounter) while Barak has it further up.

Did you play it in casual? Casual is bugged right now and doesn’t give any Quest progress at all. I had to finish it in ranked :p

Just “Combo” means that another of your Merc has to use ability before it in order to activate.

E.g. “Fire Combo” means that another of your Merc has to use a FIRE ability before.

One important note is that you can combo even if your abilities have the same speed – e.g. both are Speed 5. The ability you pick FIRST will always cast first if there’s a tie (only works for your abilities, if your opponent has something with Speed 5 it will still be RNG).

Hey, have you tried again? Because a lot of people were locked in tutorial, but last night they’ve released a hotfix that supposedly tackled this issue.

You can never get a cosmetic portrait INSTEAD of a new Merc. It only happens when you own all the Mercs from that rarity anyway.

Yeah, a hotfix was just released and Task 5 issue was one of the fixed bugs!

That’s weird, I got reports from both Android and iOS that the patch is downloadable. I also got mine on Android. But then many people said that they don’t see it.

I don’t think that Hallow’s End event has started yet. They’re just selling some skins now. The actual event will be live with Patch 21.6 (probably the same time as mini-set). We don’t know when, but I assume that should be in 2-3 weeks.

I actually think that HS should have this “mailbox” thing in the main menu. Right now you need to look stuff like patch notes, announcements, event info etc. up online – it would be nice for every player to have access to them one click away in the main menu.

Add a little extra touch like being able to send pack gifts to your friends (with limits, of course, so you don’t create 10 new accounts and send yourself gifts :D) and it would be really cool addition.

Don’t sell them short, maybe they would contain a Golden Legendary 😀

And yeah, they usually arrived instantly (or nearly instantly), but in theory, they have up to 48h to send them out according to the official drop rules.

I watched 4h+ on Saturday and got them on Sunday, later than usual, but within the 48h they promised.

If you don’t get them after 48h you should probably just message the support, I think that they resolved it for some people the last time it happened.
