A Patch (21.4.3) Is Coming Out This Week, But It Won’t Contain Any Balance Changes

So, we’ve got two blue posts that we can kind of connect together.

First of all, we know that a patch is coming early-mid this week – if I had to guess, the usual Tuesday release date seems most likely, but nothing official on it for now. It’s a 21.4.3 patch and it was actually already sort-of announced last week, in the “known issues” posts – it will mostly focus on fixing bugs introduced by Patch 21.4 – a lot of Mercenaries issues, but also some MMR gain/loss bugs in other formats and probably a few more things.

However, according to Gallon (who most likely took over the role from Alec Dawson after he quit Team 5 for another project at Blizzard), the patch won’t contain any balance changes. And to be honest, I would be surprised if it did – the current meta is pretty balanced, and a mini-set is coming probably within 2-3 weeks. There’s also a Masters Tour event this weekend, so the timing would be rather bad for any balance changes.

Great! BGs need a huge fix. The lightning simbol on minions go away to another minion many times. xD

They just announced that Dual Class Arena is coming on November 2, so not just yet, but soon (2 weeks from now).
