Miracle (Nomi) Priest - #1 Legend (LFYueying) - Uldum Doom

1. Yes, that’s the point of this deck. It is built to draw cards incredibly quickly with Pyro + Cleric combos (or later with Auctioneer). You usually go through your entire deck before T10, so the games don’t last nearly as long as you might think. Sometimes you can even drop Nomi on curve.
2. It has 3x Nomi, to be precise. You play Nomi + Seance and have another one in your hand. The point is that most of the decks can’t deal with 3x Nomi one after the other.
3. It’s not a “combo you have to draw or lose” – there’s really no RNG, you get to this combo every game by simply drawing cards, you need to go through your entire deck to activate it anyway. The only RNG is deck order – if all of your card draw is at the bottom then you won’t be able to cycle and you’ll get stuck with useless 0 mana spells. But it’s rarely the case – this deck goes to fatigue incredibly consistently, because it’s built to do exactly that.
4. It also runs 2x Grave Horror if you need some big threat / Taunt earlier. You can often drop Grave Horrors as soon as T5-T6.
5. I don’t really understand what’s wrong with this deck in your opinion.

Year of the Dragon's Expansion 3 Predictions - What Lies Ahead?

To be honest, it’s Year of the DragoN not DragoNS. Maybe they only had one one specific Dragon in mind from the get-go – like let’s say Deathwing ๐Ÿ™‚

But I would also like to see some more Dragons, I really liked to play Dragon decks in the past!

Update on Mobile (Android) Performance - Should Be Fixed in the Next Update

One thing I’m sure of is that they want to release a fix as soon as possible – after all, a big part of their playerbase is mobile-only and they’re potentially losing a bunch of players (and thus money) for every day they can’t play (because if they can’t play HS, they can find another game and get hooked).

My guess would be that re-introducing Wild cards messed something up and it took them a while to even figure out what’s going on. After all, it’s something they have never done before.

I hope that it will get resolved soon, because I usually play 2-3 games each night before going to bed, which is something i gave up on lately after the game started crashing :/

Are Wild Cards Returning to Standard a Precursor to a Rotating Hearthstone Core Set?

in Magic, there’s no “base” set which is always present like Classic or Basic, but they do release Core Sets every year (they had a break for a while, but decided to return to them). While sometimes we see new cards in those sets, most of them are reprtints of older cards with lots of staples.

The thing is, however, that THEY decide which staples to pick for which expansion cycle, so they can control the power level of some archetypes, make them stronger, weaker etc. depending on other cards they want to print. Or let’s say that RDW (aggressive Red deck, something like Face Hunter in HS) dominates the meta for over a year and people are done with it – they can just decide to not reprint staple Red burn cards etc. to reduce its power level.

It’s probably more about reprints in general, but usually Core Sets have much more reprints than regular sets, which are mostly new cards.

So if we go with Magic Core Sets idea, the rotating set in HS would mostly contain already existing cards that would form a baseline for a given Standard year (e.g. they might want Warlock to lean towards Zoo one year and then Control next year by giving them different Core cards) – but they could also print some new cards here and there. And given that sets stay in Standard for 2 years, if a new Core set would come out with a rotation, then we would have 2 of them in Standard at the same time. Right now we’d have Core 2018 and Core 2019 – when first expansion of 2020 comes out, Core 2018 would rotate and be replaced with Core 2020.

All of that said, for that to work in HS, every card from Core Set should be available for free to everyone IMO, just like those Event cards. Because if not, it would add even more pressure to buy packs, and start of the year would be unbearable for new players (old players would already have most of the Core cards, so it wouldn’t be a problem).

In general, a big advantage would be that the meta would feel less stale, we wouldn’t see the same X cards every expansion for YEARS and they could control the narrative better. The main disadvantage is that the game would drastically change – every year – often to something that certain players don’t like. So it seems that there are more advantages than disadvantages, but… That’s all assuming they would be able to balance everything correctly, which is another thing that’s not certain. It would require A LOT more effort, and probably a much bigger team to balance everything correctly.

Best Hearthstone Decks - Standard Meta Tier List - Across the Timeways (November 2025)

Wild cards will be around until the next expansion. That said, I would hold onto crafting too many expensive cards that are played in new decks. For example, investing a lot in N’Zoth deck is not very wise, because N’Zoth will 100% be gone very soon.

But sorry, I don’t really understand what are you asking about besides that. Did you craft a wrong deck or something?

Most Impactful Doom in the Tomb Wild Event Cards

I do think that HS will need more formats in the future. For a lot of people, Standard is boring because there aren’t enough cards available, or they don’t like that it changes to quickly. On the other hand, Wild will only get wilder as the time goes by – few years from now everyone will run some completely broken strategies. So we might eventually need something like extended Standard (which has let’s say 4 years worth of sets and not 2), or maybe a rotating format that takes a few years worth of sets and puts them together, then changes every year for a completely different compilation of expansions. Or… something. They’re better game designers than I am, I’m sure they can figure something out.

HSTD BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket Giveaway - Full Stream Access + In-Game Loot!

I’m not THAT surprised that less people are interested – everyone who plays HS wants a big card bundle, not everyone cares for BlizzCon (they can just see the news online the moment after they’re announced).

The rewards for HS are only card back + Golden Legendary. Card back is a cosmetic most of people ignore at this point (since we’ve got so many of them). The Golden Legendary we’ve got in the past for BlizzCon ticket was Marin the Fox, so maybe people assume that it will be something bad this time around too (we don’t know yet, but there’s a chance).

That said, I expected some more entries. I’ll advertise it again this weekend and we’ll see ๐Ÿ™‚

It will definitely come out, there’s no reason to drop the project that’s already well in the makings. But they probably figured out that talking about it a lot before it gets closer to release doesn’t make sense – people will meme the hell out of it and no matter what they say about it, it will be bad PR.

There’s a chance that they will talk more about it or maybe give the release date on this BlizzCon. That’s because we’re expecting a lot of great news, so sneaking in a controversial one like Immortal wouldn’t hurt :p

Secret Highlander Paladin Deck List Guide โ€“ Uldum Doom โ€“ October 2019

Highest win rate builds don’t run Leeroy. I guess that it’s because Highlander Paladin is a very board-dependent deck. E.g. in Rogue, you can still deal a lot of damage from hand with Eviscerate, SI:7, weapons etc. In Paladin, not really. If your opponent is at let’s say 15 health, then Leeroy is useless, because you won’t get them that low without getting board control. So most of the time, you’d rather have something you can actually drop on the board instead of keeping until you can kill your opponent.

But seriously, when it comes to meta analysis, Vicious Syndicate is your best source and I 100% recommend it. They have a team of experts for each class, people who know a lot about data analysis etc.

While I think that I’m doing a solid job with stuff like that, I’ll never beat a whole team of experts by myself ๐Ÿ˜€

The thing is, though, that they aren’t really doing much more than meta analysis (sometimes they post some theorycrafts too before expansions or big patches).

By Evolve Shaman I meant Quest Shaman too (since it also runs Evolve shenanigans), should have made myself more clear. And yes, it’s the most popular deck on the ladder right now: https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/vs-data-reaper-report-144/

Resurrect Priest is the second most popular, so you aren’t that far off ๐Ÿ™‚ However, Shaman absolutely dominates, especially at higher ranks. R4-R1 is 30% Shaman and only 14% Priest.

Legends of Runeterra - New Card Game From Riot Games - How Does It Compare to Hearthstone?

You have some pretty bad community, then… Lots of Hearthstone players (or card game players in general) will be curious about it, so I wanted to do a quick early look & comparison with HS. I don’t think that writing a single quick article about it would be a bad decision. It’s not like I will start publishing Legends of Runeterra content here or anything.

Legends of Runeterra - New Card Game From Riot Games - How Does It Compare to Hearthstone?

Of course, we know how the system will work, but we don’t know yet how fast you will progress as an F2P player.

However, looking at the current state of League of Legends, I think that it should be pretty F2P-friendly. The game’s monetization is mostly about selling cosmetics, and that’s the thing they will probably explore in LoR too.

I also think that’s a huge missed opportunity for HS. I’ve been saying for YEARS that they would earn a lot of money if they introduced more cosmetics – new Hero portraits* / custom emotes / custom card art / game board customization etc.

*They DO kind of monetize Hero Portraits in a way that they bundle them with pre-orders instead of selling separately, although I still think that they should add more portraits you can just buy in the store.

Legends of Runeterra - New Card Game From Riot Games - How Does It Compare to Hearthstone?

Hahah, I think that it’s too early to tell yet. If we jumped the gun and created a new website for Artifact, for example, we would end up wasting a lot of resources.

But if the game takes off, we’ll definitely do some coverage of it – like good decks, guides etc. – even if not on a separate, new site, then on Fanbyte.com (which is our general gaming site).

Legends of Runeterra - New Card Game From Riot Games - How Does It Compare to Hearthstone?

It is F2P. You can pay real money to buy cards, but it seems that their main source if income will be cosmetics (that’s usually the case for Riot games).

So far it seems that the F2P system is pretty player-friendly, but I will have to play the game myself first before really judging.
