Tombs of Terror Guide - Trailer, Launch Date & Time, Price, Rewards, Chapters, Heroes, Plague Lords
“I want to guess that to win your packs, you need to finish a run and at least beat the first 7 bosses with any progress/downing on the final boss as optional.”
That’s exactly right – you need to get to Plague Lord (and possibly deal at least some damage) to get packs.
Tombs of Terror Strategy Guide - Chapter 2: Scorching Dunes - K'zrath, Plague Lord of Madness
I agree, Secret decks are very hard to build. Even if you manage to build a decent one, it’s only good against Plague Lord, since it still takes a while to get all 6 Secrets up AND you need to draw your Tomb Diver. It’s far from “100% guaranteed method”, especially not on Heroic, where your deck needs to be good against regular bosses too or otherwise you won’t even get to Plague Lord at all. You need to get extremely lucky – both with drafts and with draws to get this strategy going. Obviously, when it works, it’s insane – you basically can’t lose when you get a new treasure every turn. But there are definitely more consistent strategies.

Of course, you won’t always get the right synergies, but most of the time I wanted to build a deck around some theme I did it more or less. Maybe once or twice I completely missed it. But Secrets in particular are a very narrow synergy – it’s only a single bucket of cards (some strategies can easily pick cards from 2-3 different buckets) so maybe that’s why it’s harder to get (I haven’t tried to go for a full Secret deck yet).

That’s a funny interaction ๐ I assume that he didn’t keep the Armor?

I only implied that you don’t get packs for the content that is not out yet, as you have to play through it first and don’t get it for simply buying it.
But I edited it and tried to make it less confusing now.

I know what you mean, and I would also like to know! I picked it up once, but actually didn’t have opportunity to use it, lol.
But just in theory, I would assume so, because getting through the 7 bosses is the “easier” part, so if the treasure wouldn’t work vs Plague Lords it wouldn’t make much sense.

Yep, once you beat them, they reset to full health (and first phase) when you get to them again. I’ll add that to the guide shortly ๐
Changes for Masters Qualifiers, Ladder, and More
It’s a Standard tournament, so that’s a safe assumption.

I didn’t put that info yet, because it wasn’t officially confirmed, but the pricing model suggests that Finale will be free in some way – either available to everyone or (more likely) available to everyone who buys Chapter 4..
Since individual chapters cost $6.99 and the entire thing costs $14.99, if you had to buy 4 chapters (4x $6.99 = $27.96), the discrepancy between those two prices would be unusually high.
But like I’ve said, we’ll have to wait until its released to see ๐

Midrange Hunter - #7 Legend (SirVILGAUDAS) - Uldum Post-Nerf
You should probably check out the source. He has played 200 games with Midrange Hunter this season.
Why are people always surprised that X or Y gets to high Legend? You can hit high Legend even with average decks if you’re playing them really well and – of course – get a bit lucky (but that’s high Legend climbs in general, you always need a bit of luck to get there).

Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
There’s always a chance for the buffs, although pretty slim, given that they’ve only done it once so far :/
Best Saviors of Uldum Neutral Cards for Free-To-Play Budget Players
I mean, you’re technically correct, but that’s not really the point. The thing is that Zephrys, despite being one of the best Legendaries in the game right now, is not a good Legendary to craft for budget players. That’s because he goes only into expensive decks – even the Murloc Paladin is super Epic-heavy (including Epics that don’t fit into any other build) – 2x Lens, 2x Tip the Scales, 2x Amalgam, 2x Warleader. Murloc Paladin builds start at 8k Dust, which is not that much compared to Highlander decks, but still quite a lot. And that’s the cheapest Zephrys – Quest Druid is 12-15k Dust.
A Legendary like Zilliax is very budget player friendly, because you can slot it into nearly every deck, including budget builds. Zephrys – not so much.
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
Not only Crown – just random effects in general. Lots of Legends that aren’t good enough to put into your deck can be good if you Discover or randomly get them from something ๐
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020
You’re right, I will add that to the disclaimer soon. I really want to have everything covered so people can make informed decisions before dusting Legendaries ๐
I think that there’s a bug where he often resets his health instead of staying at how low you got him too. I’ve read it many times today but so far no official words from Blizzard.
