Combo Priest - #10 Legend (Zuhex) - Uldum Post-Nerf
I agree, but sadly we can’t really enforce it in any way.
Tavern Brawl - Three Wishes
Oooh, right, that might be the case. But I don’t know how else I can phrase it since they’re “Legendary Quest” is the official name :p
Hearthstone Legendaries You Can "Safely" Disenchant - Ashes of Outland - May 2020

What Are the Implications of the Recent Discover Mechanic Changes?
Every single card in Hearthstone is played by at least hundreds, and probably even thousands of players. It’s a game played by millions of players, after all. But the term “sees play” is referring to more popular, usually meta builds (or at least more well known off-meta decks).
Combo Priest - #10 Legend (Zuhex) - Uldum Post-Nerf
Popular meta deck list that the community currently “hates” (right now those seem to be Control Warrior and Combo Priest) always get downvoted. Not like that it matters, but it’s still pretty silly.
Tavern Brawl - Three Wishes
And Electra Stormsurge. And Zul’jin. And probably a few more cards 🙂
Tavern Brawl - Three Wishes
What do you mean exactly? You didn’t get it? Or you can’t complete it?
Tavern Brawl - Three Wishes
They’re using the same algorithm they used to create random decks for The Burndown brawl. Remember, the one with infamous OP Pirate Warrior that everyone was playing after a while 🙂 But since you aren’t taking your opponent’s deck now, the chances that you will end up playing against one of those really broken decks are slim.
But I’m happy that the decks are at least somewhat well built and synergistic. On my first try, I was playing a Thief Rogue with lots of wacky card choices, but the cards were working quite well with each other and I had a nice curve, so it played more like an Arena match than “a bunch of completely random cards” match. And that’s nice.
Tavern Brawl - Three Wishes
That’s how random decks Brawls work. Some of them are better and some are worse, it’s impossible for them to be random and perfectly balanced against each other. Your decks could have possibly work better against something else, and that Murloc build might lose to some random anti-Aggro build. And if they would be premade, it would be like playing Constructed.
What Are the Implications of the Recent Discover Mechanic Changes?
I stand by my previous point. This change is way less severe nerf than revealing a discovered card to the opponent. Not only it affects a part of the Discover cards (roughly ~1/3), but I’d argue that it reduces their power level less than the “reveal” nerf. Revealing a card to the opponent would make every single Discover card way worse. Hand prediction is one of the most important skills in Hearthstone – if you know what your opponent has in hand, you can play around it. That’s what often separates bad from good players. The best players in the game are the best exactly because they more or less know what the opponent’s hand could be at every time. But it only applies to cards that started in their deck – when it comes to Discovers, you can never really account for those, since they can often be anything. A big part of power behind Discover mechanic is flexibility and unpredictability. The second biggest reason to play Discover cards would be gone completely if that happened.
While it’s hard to put exact numbers of those, to illustrate my opinion – this nerf is a ~4/10 nerf and it only affects roughly 1/3 of Discover cards. Your idea would be a ~7/10 nerf and it would affect basically every Discover card in the game.
However, I’m already surprised that more players aren’t demanding Dust for those changes. I remember everyone on reddit saying that they want Dust when Rogue’s Quest had a “consistency change” recently, which was also a clear nerf to the card. Right now a lot of powerful cards are getting weaker. My guess is that people are (like always) approaching the subject emotionally and they’re happy with this one since they hate Control Warrior, and Control Warrior is the deck that got affected most.

Fixed it, thanks. I was writing it around 2-3 am so my mind wasn’t completely clear :p

Sorry, now clue how I could help you 🙁 Have you tried retweeting again?
Twitch Drops Now Enabled for Grandmasters Season 2!
That’s 315,000 packs in total, I’d say that it is pretty generous. Always could be better, but why would anyone complain about them giving out hundreds of thousands of packs for free?
It’s not meant to force you to watch, it’s that you get a one or two extra packs for watching if you’re doing it anyway. I always tune in for at least a few hours every weekend and I did it before the drops, so for me it’s just extra free packs (I’ve already got one today).
Hearthstone Wild Meta Decks Tier List - Scholomance Academy Update
Wild Meta Tier List was just updated for Saviors of Uldum. Huge thanks to Corbett for doing it!
Sorry that it took so long, but Roffle couldn’t do it this time around, so we had to look for other writers with Wild experience. We promise that it will be faster next time around.

The Best and Worst Parts of the Uldum Meta
Reveal the burgled cards to your opponent so they know what to play around. In general I would have the Discover mechanic reveal your choice to the opponent. It’s not nice losing a game to a card you couldn’t play around because it did not start in the opponent’s deck.
That’s not a bad idea, but it would require a big re-balance of the cards. Revealing a card to your opponent is not a small change, it’s a significant nerf. Every Discover / Burgle card would need to be buffed or just remade (because buffing some of them while keeping them balanced would be difficult) to off-set that nerf. Otherwise, they would have to give out Dust for every single one of those cards, which is never going to happen.
Given that there are hundreds of cards that give you random stuff in the game at this point, I really don’t think that it’s ever going to happen. it would either require a lot of work (and I mean A LOT of work) or they would need to give out tens of thousands of Dust.

What’s the problem, exactly?
HSTD Tombs of Terror Giveaway! Win One of the Ten Deluxe Bundles (Full Adventure + Card Back + Random Legendary)
The more you complete, the more entries you get, so the higher your chance to win is. It’s up to you, but if you want to maximize your chances, you should complete more 🙂
I really, really thought about including it, but I didn’t mostly because it’s significantly more popular than the other two. I don’t think that Warlock’s Quest will ever be good, but it’s actually semi-common on the ladder. 1.5-2% play rate is more than some competitively viable decks, so yeah. It also has a slightly higher win rate than the other two – it’s still ~45%, but at least not ~40%.
Unless something drastically change, I will probably be including it next expansion.
