Glory is the Hearthstone 2020 World Champion!

Hearthstone 2020 World Championship has finished just a couple of hours ago. In the last round, Kenta “glory” Sato defeated Jaromír “Jarla” Vyskočil 3-1, taking the title of Hearthstone World Champion, World Championship trophy, as well as $200,000 money prize. Congratulations!

And so, the 2020 competitive season has concluded. Sadly, World Championship didn’t get a lot of viewers, the move from Twitch to YouTube really shows. You can still catch up all the VoDs on the Hearthstone Esports channel, and trust me – it’s worth it, because we had bunch of really interesting games. For example, you can watch the glory vs Jarla finals here.

If you’re interested, here’s a full glory’s winning line-up:

I guess I’m pretty lucky picking Jarla as my champion. 3 out of 4 packs is still better.
120 dust here we go :(.
But all things aside, even Youtube chat cannot escape the anti-blizzard messages. Also I think the small number of views on Youtube got nothing to do with the outgoing rages, since Youtube is not very popular from streaming tournaments like this.

    Blizzard… What have you done.

You get all 4 for picking Jarla 🙂 Both finalists give you 4 packs!

And yeah, move to YT was terrible for HS Esports. Tournaments on Twitch had WAY more viewers. I hope that they will bring it back to Twitch eventually, but probably not soon because of the deal with Google.
