This deck can run out of “gas” extremely quickly, if they can deal with your initial board flood and you don’t have a follow up, you usually lose. Even when you have a bunch of 1 mana 5/5s in your deck, one 5/5 a turn is not hard to deal with. Elven Minstrel is here for the same reason it is in tempo rogue, it gives you more gas
Yeah I’ve tried the deck and against control it’s (most of the time) even better to fill your hand with Elven Minstrel then complete the quest asap. But thanks for explanation Kekyoin! 🙂
I’m not a huge fan of Quest Rogue but I try to answer:
– Wax Elemental as a 1 mana 0/2 taunt can tank some damage and give you time to complete the Quest. After the Quest is completed, well… 1 mana 5/5 taunt… Seems good XD. So yes, I think is a great minion for Quest Rogue.
– Second question is more difficult. Sonya could potentially complete the quest in 1 turn with Stonetusk Boar and/or Southsea Deckhand but I’d say it is really dependant on the situation. Zola, on the other hand, is a great addition to Quest Rogue simply because can help you to complete the quest at any time and under any circumstance.

Anyone know why is Wax Elemental a good inclusion?

I would love to play another game with quest rogue. Don’t want to invest in Zola the Gorgon. Is there a good replacement?
It’s definitely not tier 4, I’m crushing priest and druid, and against aggro I’m 50/50
