i dont see any reason to play it over brewmaster .... oh there is only one to have 4 effeckts and it can be played as turn 2 play without effeckt with minion on board... i dont now its janky card it may see some plays in janky-wacky combo decks as another copy of brewmaster ... i dont now

It's nice to see a combo card which you may choose to play before any spell depending on the situation. I don't think the effect is not good enough, though.

This is a dead card, Rogues already have ShadowStep, Vanish, Kidnapper AND the Brewmasters... I swear Rogues are going to be the lowest it has ever been after this expansion...

This would be a fairly pointless card anyway because of Youthful Brewmaster... but in Rogue, when there's Shadowstep?

Also would like to mention that Youthful Brewmaster is in fact a classic card that exists and is better than this CLASS CARD. Why Blizzard why.

Technically Yourful Brewmaster is worse in most cases. The problem with brewmaster is that you cannot play it to a board without sending anyone back, thus preventing you from playing it most of the time.

Im not sure why this card is so poorly rated.
For a 2mana card, it has pretty decent stats, 2/3 is not bad if you are hoping to make a tempo-rogue deck (as I am).
Secondly, within the rogue class, this combo-effect has almost endless possibilities! You can hit with your SI:7 agent, get it back to the hand and do an aditional 2 damage to the board, or get another 2/1 from your Defias Ringleader, or even get more value from Jade Spirit.
This card has a lot of usefullness. You just have to be a liiiiiiiiiiiiiittle creative, not even much. :)

Seems pretty solid arena card, a better version of Youthful Brewmaster cause you can decide if trigger the combo or play it first. In constructed it should be awesome in a mill deck maybe ;)

The real problem with this card is... You already have this effect with out the combo, you get no other real venefice from actually combo this card. If this card was Shadowstep in a stick (minion this case, magic reference) NOW that would be worth it

Why is this card rated so low? If there was something that a Jade Rogue deck wants in its lategame is more shadowsteps for its Battlecry: Summon Jade Golem cards. Sure it's weird why it's a 2 drop, despite being a class card it sure is just a weaker version of Youthful Brewmaster, but time will tell will that matter enough. I'd still rate it 3.5/5.

It's actually stronger than youthful brewmaster. The combo means that you can play it first without needing to return a minion if you choose, and the 2/3 is better than a 3/2 currently in my opinion.
Don't get me wrong, still a bad card. Rogue is going to be the priest of this expansion.

A couple things about this card...
It's an anti-aggro version of Brewmaster; the statline is arguably better in the aggro matchups, capable of trading against 1/1's and 2/1's, but Brewmaster can trade up for like 3-4 cost minions.
If you're going to play a powerful battlecry, you want to bounce it back right away so you don't risk losing it. Hence the combo mechanic; it does decently in Mill (yet still outclassed sometimes by Brewmaster) and can synergize greatly with Jade Lotus cards, or simply a combo-starter if you don't want to bounce anything back (another positive is that you technically don't have to bounce something back to start a combo).
It's still a sub-par card though; Brewmaster isn't even getting used, so I doubt this will. Idk, I guess this might get play if Rogues get another powerful battlecry (Jade Golems or Mill) or stealth (Oh btw the Lotus Assassin as well as our legendary synergizes half-decently with this card).
Honestly with the horrible cards we have, I kinda want some sort of either heal or damage mitigation outside of neutral cards. Rogue desperately needs it, but then again aggro is going to get destroyed in the coming meta, so we may not need it :3

It is a bad card, but not the worst and by a long shot, the combo mean you can cast it first and dont peek anything back to the hand , or play in combo for the effect, and whit this is better then brewmaster, brewmaster has not seen real play becouse in the middle late game if you have a bard and you need it te brewmaster remove one of your minion. I don't say it is good, it is still bad, but is not purify, it comes out in an adventure out of 3 cards for the lower class....

I don't understand people who think this card isn't crap or think it is better than Youthful Brewmaster. If you are playing this card in your deck, it is obvious that you want to use it to return cards to hand, otherwise you would just play another good 2-drop. There is very rarely a time that you would want to play Brewmaster just for the body and not the effect (other than as a tempo play on turn 2 or on an empty board). The combo effect makes it more difficult to use the returning ability. I suppose if you want to run more than 2 Youthful Brewmasters in your deck, this is a good addition. Other than that, why not just run Youthful Brewmaster?

If this card read: "Combo: Destroy a friendly minions. Put a copy of it into your hand." it would actually be good. Sort of a thing for both battlecry aswell as deathrattle. I'd use that and make a jadegolem-nzoth-rogue. But like this....might be slightly better than brewmaster but brewmaster never even really saw play in millrogue. People might try it out for that milldeck and it could even find a permanent slot in it but i highly doubt that deck will be any good this coming expansion. Too bad, i was really hoping for rogue to become better, Reno-nzoth-cthun-rogue was my favorite deck for the last 2 expansions.
