Mulligans
General Mulligans
In general, try to mulligan for cards that you would always want in your hand, no matter what deck that your playing against.
Aggro Mulligans
Against aggro, mulligan for cards that will be able to clear the board effectively. Kazakus is included for his five-mana potion that deals damage. I also considered Bloodmage Thalnos for his synergy with spells like defile and mortal coil. Reno Jackson is included simply because being able to play him against an aggro deck is almost always a guaranteed win.
Control Mulligans
Against control, the best and easiest way to win would be to simply outvalue the opponent. Having Krul in hand allows you to build up the demons in your hand, a cheap mountain giant is a great way for early pressure, and having the Amethyst Spellstone in hand allows you to continuously upgrade it without having to try and draw it first.
This is my first deck that I built myself, with some inspiration from other lists. I will be using this deck for the upcoming Wild Brawliseum so please tell me what you guys think! By the way, here are some replacements that I thought up of:
Eater of Secrets – Despicable Dreadlord/Acidic Swamp Ooze/Piloted Shredder – Eater of Secrets is a viable card in this deck simply because of the power of Ice Block and Mysterious Challenger. An important thing to note is that Eater of Secrets can in turn be replaced by Kezan Mystic since stealing the opponents Ice Block is better than destroying it and gaining +1/+1.
Rin, the First Disciple – Acidic Swamp Ooze/Piloted Shredder – Rin, the First Disciple provides an alternate win condition, milling your opponents deck with Azari. However, she is also a good taunt and a target for removals that may otherwise hit your Mal’Ganis or Sylvanus Windrunner. Acidic Swamp Ooze is good only in matchups against weapons, which there aren’t many of in wild, and replacing Piloted Shredder with another deathrattle(N’zoth Synergy) is also a not-bad option.
