Always keep Fire fly and Sorcerer's Apprentice as there are not too many early drops in this deck. I would also usually keep either Tar Creeper (vs aggro/midrange) or Nightmare Amalgam. If you are certain you are playing vs control you could consider keeping Book of Specters and/or Jaina but getting a good early/mid game curve is also important so perhaps only keep with 1-2 early drops.

This is a midrange elemental tempo deck that focuses on chaining elementals to gain early/mid-game tempo, with Frost Lich Jaina as a finisher for either stabilising against aggressive decks or for value against control. Due to the low number of spells I have included one copy of Book of Specters for additional card draw. Two lesser Ruby Spellstones provide additional spells and are easily upgraded while playing your elementals. These, plus the Primordial Glyph spells and other generated cards can be discounted by Leyline Manipulator to regain tempo while gaining the value. One copy of voodoo doll is included in part to compensate for the lack of spells and is particular useful against huge early minions from spiteful decks (it is the only answer to a Tyrantus for example).

This deck has been done on a slight budget due to the cards I have available. Other possible inclusions if I had them would be Pyros (definite include), Archmage Arugal, and second copies of Book of Specters, Nightmare Amalgam, and Voodoo Doll. I am unsure if Archmage Arugal or a second Book of Specters are necessary though as card generation with the deck is already fairly high, but feel free to test.
