Tired of facing Control Warrior, Khadgar Summon Mage or Value
Rogue/Paladin?
Then this deck is exactly for you!
How to play:
Stall with Keeper Stalladris,Wrath,Ferocious Howl and Wardruid Loti to keep aggressive opponents on their track.
After, you want to start ramping with Wild Growth and Juicy Psychmelon, or if your opponent is not yet done flooding the board, cards like Swipe, Druid of the Claw, and Starfall will help you survive!
Now we’re entering the mid-late stage of the game, which is exactly your strength!
You can either play Nourish to secure your 8-Mana Drop Jepetto Joybuzz or Lucentbark for the next turn or if you still need to stabilize, you can also play Witching Hour to revive either Wardruid Loti or Druid of the Claw!
Finally, you will have drawn enough cards from your deck and defended against your opponents
early aggression that it is time for your counter-attack in form
of Lucentbark in combination
with Flobbidinous Floop and Faceless Manipulator!
Ideally, you want to have 4x Lucentbark on the board, which you can consistently revive with your health restoration cards like Crystal Power,Healing Touch and Ancient of Lore.
(Note: If you’re playing vs very passive opponents, it might be the case that
you gained too much armor and your health didn’t drop below 25 once, therefore
it is not a bad decision to Alexstrasza your opponent and heal him if needed)
Mulligan:
Keeper Stalladris, Wrath, Wardruid
Loti, Ferocious Howl, Wild Growth for aggressive opponents and if you’re facing a
slower class like warrior, you can also consider Juicy Psychmelon, Druid of the Claw and Witching Hour in combination with a beast preferably =)
Why run Jepetto Joybuzz over Gloop Sprayer? Simply because Jepetto Joybuzz is a better unit for that second 8-Mana slot:
We have additional Card Draw and I’ve modified this deck in a way that not a single minion is affected by his 1/1 drawback; they either transform anyway like Wardruid Loti, Druid of the Claw, Faceless Manipulator, Flobbidinous Floop or have a strong Battlecry!
Why is this deck so powerful?
You can easily survive against aggro and it has the best Late-Game Board Control out there right now!
If you manage to get your 4x Lucentbark going, you
have enough healing in this deck to revive your whole board 5-7times. Therefore, play this fun control druid deck before Blizzard realizes that Lucentbark or Crystal Power
needs a nerf =)
Have fun grinding!
