Mulligans

General Mulligans

It is really good to start the game with hero power in the first turn, than Cathedral Gargoyle. because it is hard to deal with them. If you manage to keep up the pressure Corpsetaker and The Glass Kinght can be really good follow-up minions to finish you opponent early. If they manage to handle these, you can proceed with the bigger minions and N'Zoth.

Aggro Mulligans

It is all about clearing the board and stay alive. This deck has a lot more value than an aggro deck so if you manage to kill everything they have, you will win.

Midrange Mulligans

Against midrange the tempo is really important. You should always be ahead on board to be able to trade and bring face damage at the same time.

Combo Mulligans

Against combo you don't want to give the enemy much time to pull of their stuff. If there are a lot of combo deck on ladder, you can add Dirty Rats to deal with them more efficiently.

Control Mulligans

Against control, you want to win fast. If they kill your early stuff and stabilize, you can still win by making them play all their removals and timing N'Zoth good.

N'Zoth, The Corruptor and Paladin has a long history together, this archetype was one of the best control decks for Paladin. When I decided to play wild I “remastered” it with some new cards such as Genn Greymane because the old god seemed a good fit in an midrange – even deck.

So my version is less defensive and has more opportunity to finish the game early. Besides the usual survival tools – Wild Pyromancer , Equality , Consecration and Spikeridged Steed – I decided to add more higher cost minions so I also added a bit more heal than usual. Since I run Crystalsmith Kangor , Corpsetaker seemed a reasonable choice too.

Not just because of the heal it provides but it also gives you the opportunity to finish the game early if you manage to keep Windfury Harpy in the deck. Your opponents also know this so if it appears on the board he has to get rid of it and can’t really play his own game plan. The Glass Knight also works out pretty well in this build, has a good sinergy also with Truesilver Champion and Vicious Scalehide  which is included to make Corpsetaker more stable. If you make any kind of a Paladin deck you can not leave out Sunkeeper Tarim , I don’t think it has to be explained why. If you manage to summon a lot of silver hand dudes it can be a win condition and it can also help you bring back a lost match. Helped me a lot against Jade Golems for example. Bone Drake is added because of N'Zoth, The Corruptor obviously.

On the other hand it keeps adding dragons to your hand which is nice especially against control decks. In wild there are a lot of powerful dragons so you have a better chance to get something cool than in standard play. I hesitated a lot if I should run Cathedral Gargoyle or not since I run just two dragons but the effect of Bone Drake makes it better even in the later turns and a 2 mana 2/2 with taunt and divine shield is really good at any point of the game. Really good against aggro if you manage to mulligan the Drake. Sylvanas Windrunner and Tirion Fordring are naturally included to make N'Zoth, The Corruptor as powerful as possible and both are hard to deal with. We all know The Lich King is a very powerful minion and also a big threat because of the Death Knight cards it gives to your hand.

Loot Hoarder and Potion of Heroism are the only card draws in the deck, the latter also helps a lot to trade better and is also really good with Wild Pyromancer . I don’t think you need more because the dragons and The Lich King are keeping you hand filled and N'Zoth, The Corruptor brings back the Loot Hoarders.
