Hemet: You want him early so you can end it quickly... Even better if you can coin him at turn 5.
Tar Creeps and Stonehill: Always good to have these guys ready to set up walls while you search for Hemet.
Wild Pyro: Against Paladin, Elemental Shaman, Mage, Hunter and any aggro... This bad boy is your best friend... Especially paired with Power Word Shield.
Cleric: Good starter and helps you draw quicker.
Doomsayer allows you to get control early on or helps deviate attacks later in the game.
Swamp Ooze: Helps stall against Kingsbane Rogue
Mass Hysteria: Always wanna have this available to you... Especially against Paladin and Warlock.
Taunts and heals are key to survive until you pull hemet and hurry up your Mecathun Combo. Strong against Paladin, Druid, Hunter, Warrior, Warlock, Shaman (elemental)… Weak against Kingsbane Rogue, Shudderwock Shaman… 50/50 against Priest.
