Obviously we don't seaforium early. Other cards help early. Lab recruiter gets muligan if you open is something like quest. betrayal.Clever. Even shiv is better then wasting his ability to restock elek//seaforium. He also plays well with tak if enemy is sure to drop kill nuke on him.
Mad Bomb burst. Mad heal and stall. Decent early-mid aoe. Use Arch with clever disguise if your desperate for quest. The quest is not the main theme. I’d use Tess. But tbh her inconsistency plays against this deck. No shark spirit either because we have focus on stall not empty turn 4’s. It’s also a bit bloody obvious. The longer we can make the enemy think it is only elek, shadow of death and portal keeper the better. They’ll liberally draw to try to meet up tempo.
