General Mulligans
Keleseth is your best opening card. Fire Fly is a solid turn 1 minion. Arcane shot can help you w/ early clear. Weapon synergy is strong in the deck so having the bow in hand is solid. Southsea Capt. allows for a turn 3 swingI really enjoy playing hunter and admittedly this deck is the result of quite a bit of frustration regarding the Hunter class. I believe the beast opening package and endgame is significantly behind the curve. I’ve searched for a beastial response to the Pirate opening package and I do not feel the counter exists.
Thus, I’ve adapted and I’ve been really surprised by how well this deck performs, well above 50% win rate. The deck incorporates several key cards that very often don’t find there way into hunter decks, gives emphasis to our weapons and uses a mix of Pirates to enhance our weapons.
The deck also uses Prince Keleseth to bolster the deck.
Potential swap cards:
Deathstalker Rexxar, Abomination would be top contenders.
