Unique effect but might only be good in a combo deck. It costs a card which is a big deal fo any aggro or midrange deck.

I don’t get the high rating. When playing on curve, I rather play Frozen Shadoweaver (4/3 Freeze an enemy) which directly affects the board, then play this card with a chance of getting an extra 1hp rush minion next turn. This minion needs to survice a turn plus it requires a rush minion in your hand.

Most of the time it won’t summon a demon from your hand at turn 9. If it would cost 8 mana, you could draw an extra card before you play it.

A better version of Deathspeaker. Yes plz.

Using Chaos Strike instead of Escaped Manasaber works better for me.

Played ~10 games -> 8 losses and only 2 wins. 3 priests -> auto concede, a reason NOT to play this deck. 3 DH -> should be ok, but I lost 2! Having only 1 mercenary for the combo with skipper and armorsmith really hurts. Warlock – won (fatique). 2 rogues – both lost. Highlander hunter – no chance at all. 2 druids – 2 wins, but in 1 match i got lucky with Deathwing which won me the game, else I would have lost. Deleted the deck, it doesn’t work for me.

Played some DH post patch (7.5k to 5.5k).
So the early game is slightly worse, you may need to wait a turn with satyr. However you can still use 1 twin slice to kill a 2 defense minion (like battlefiend and battemage) so that’s just as powerful as before (hero power + twin slice). It affects altruis obviously. But in the late game it’s actually a buff especially with warglavies.
I don’t play wild, but I can imagine it’s a huge buff for odd demon hunter.

Except Crimson Sigil Runner. It’s class specific card, it should be a bit stronger. And if it sits in the middle of your hand, it’s basicly useless. This change wasn’t necessary. Why create the card then? Meh.

I totally agree. Feels like they’re making the same mistake here like they did with wow. The legend card back was a real accomplishment showing both skill and investment of time. The flavor text ‘Wow. Hardcore’ should now read ‘Average Joe’.

I usually hit legend just before the end of the month, now I hit legend within the first 10 days of the month. The difference is huge (15 vs 25 stars). I do miss MMR in your explanation. Somehow I think the new matchmaking also plays a role.
