Hearthstone TITANS Meta A Week Later, Best Decks to Play In Standard
Easy Legend with XL Blood DK. I played last night & tonight, and went from Diamond 5 to Legend with a whopping 83% winrate (19-4). Except for Warlock (1-1), I had a positive matchup against all other classes. I’ll post the deck on this site.

Why 2.8 stars? 3 spell schools ain’t hard and then this spell will cast three 4/5’s with a with a random bonus effect. That’s a good payoff 4/5.

There are multiple good outcomes like:
– 2/2 Sword + Poisonous + damage all enemies for 1 mana.
– 3/4 Axe + Windfury + draw 2 cards (twice, for 2 turns) for 5 mana for (+ druid attack cards = a lot of dmg).
– 5/6 Mace + Windfury + summon a random 8-cost minion (twice, for 3 turns) for 10 mana.
However you have to forge a card AND spend 4 mana first which is kinda slow especially for aggro decks. And sometimes you don’t get the options you want as you discover 3 cards from a pool of 5.

Warrior Is Back And More New Audiopocalypse Mini-Set Decks!
Got legend with XL Blood DK just before the release of Diablo IV 🙂 This mini set brought Hunter and Warrior back with some really cool decks! Other decks I met were Pure Paladin, Priest (Control and Undead), Relic DH and DK (all variants). Totem Shaman should be a good deck, only met 1. Druid, Mage, Rogue and Warlock are nowhere.

This card gonna be very annoying because it can be discovered by Nuribian Vizier and School Teacher.

So Disco Maul (paladin weapon) escaped the nerf bat. Hmmm. Blood DK will be happy too.

It’s an awfull deck to play against, not fun at all.
Discover Is More Common Than Ever - Is the Mechanic Still Good for Hearthstone?
Discover as a mechanic is great. The main reason is that it increases variety in gameplay in games where otherwise it would be similar games that would only differ based on the order of cards being drawn. Also a deck that has a disadvantage against another specific deck can still have a change thanks to the randomness of discovery. The surprise element is also fun.
There are exceptions where discovery isn’t fun. Cards that replay already discovered cards over and over again like in rogue. So you got lucky, now you got 2/3/4 times lucky. I also hate discovery cards that allow to constantly discover a card again and again like Sister Svalna in priest, it leads to boring games where you wait for minutes.

In Legend Blood DK is all over the place again. Also some Control Priests to counter them.

Arcanite Ripper is buffed. It now gets +1/+1 for each Blood Boil and Vamperic Blood tick. It’s not unusal now to get a 10/10 lifesteal minion. Nice.

Played some games in Legend, The nerfs to DK are really noticable. DH seems strong.

I do think this will hurt Blood DK more then Frost as getting that 3rd or 4th Vamperic Blood or Soul Stealer was what made Blood Dk so good.
Hearthstone's Death Knight Problem: The Balance Changes Festival of Legends Needs to Rock
Nerfing Blood DK would make Frost DK even better and it’s already the best deck atm. They’all have to target both decks.
It’s the default list. 72% winrate … , in what ranking? proof?
As much as I like plague DK it’s just an average 50/50 deck, you don’t get Legend with it.
