Will guarantee DQA, Maly, or Alex in quest lock. Can’t wait =)

This can enable a strong Beastmaster Leoroxx Combo (you get your Big beasts and Leroxx by turn 8)

Play Shirvallah for free, shuffle it into deck. If you won’t draw it next turn, you can play Polkelt and Holy Wrath next turn for 25 dmg.

Or, play this with Rogue Galakrond in deck, then play Wand that you got from Toggwaggle. You draw Galakrond, Kronx and Skyshiv for free, then you draw 4 more cards that cost 1. Value.

I feel like the best use of this card is in smth like Togwaggle Priest. You usually don’t care about drawing all your card. And once you pull off your combo the rest of your cards are garbage.

Big Deck’s Wet Dream, and (A lot of) Control’s wet dream.

While this is a hype card, I’m also seeing it as a Double Edged sword for specific decks out there. More or Less you have your Plan covered, but you can never be sure with the nitpicks; where maybe you want draw a Polymorph with but instead you force drew a Kelegos that you don’t want to use yet, because the board’s somehow too threatening and your falling behind. You know just stuff like that.

I think if you can ignore the nitpicking from Lorekeeper Polkelt, this is an awesome car,d but I defniteally not going to blindly give it 5 Stars, so I’m giving it 4 Stars instead.

If this gets run like crazy, bomb Warrior will counter.

      July 29, 2020 at 6:43 am

Wouldn’t that put all the bombs at the bottom of the deck?
      They’re 0 mana, yeah?

The Bomb, as a shuffled card, costs 5 mana

Doesn’t really matter, ’cause when something is shuffled into your deck, you’re whole deck is reordered randomly, cancelling the Polkelt’s effect

Would be dope for all highlander decks if Dragonqueen Alex wasn’t nerfed.

I’m thinking about wild Malygos druid… Maybe this could be an extra tutor minion? For either UI or Aviana + Kun?

    Quest Warlock.

With this card, it’s pretty much essential that you use a deck tracker.

Also cheap and a nice body! I like it

This is a very valuable card for certain deck types ysera works with it since you could flood the board. Depending on how your deck is built you may run this for certain key cards in late game.

A BIG value of this card though is playing it before or in same turn as a card that would draw and discount cards. Like rogue galakrond or Demon Hunter with skull. There’s also some cards that might see play do to this. Tentacled menace you and opponent draw a card and swap the costs. So your opponent could get stuck with a really expensive card that they needed in cheap form. Or say the utgarde grapplesniper both draw and if it’s a dragon summon it. If you know what’s left in deck and the costs you could easily plan out a moment to take advantage of summoning out a guaranteed dragon with the 5/5.

Overall this is a card that may see some experimenting with some of these older technical cards that never really saw use in the meta because it was pure RNG however this card removes most of the RNG involved and you can be more certain of what your next draw will be.

I don’t actually think this card is that good? It’s like a more extreme version of Sightless Watcher.

If you’re against Aggro this is a very dead card- a Yeti that HURTS your draws since you want to draw cheap answers, not your greedy top-end. Look at the decks that exist now – I can think of no existing deck where playing this would make you NOT lose on the spot versus Demon Hunter or Dragon Hunter.

If you ARE aggro there’s something to be said about making your topdecks better – you’d rather get your expensive bursty finishers than your 1-drops. But you have to play a Yeti to do that and Aggro wouldn’t be too happy about that. They’d rather just play high-tempo cards and hope they draw into the right stuff.

Combo doesn’t need this either, this too will make them lose against aggro, and cheap cards are part of most combos so this will bury them.

In next 1.5 years there might be some niche effect where you want to ensure you do (or do not) draw into cast-when-drawn cards shuffled into your deck, or a situation like Quest Warlock where you can guarantee a 0-mana Malygos. But those still need to justify playing … a Yeti.

Imagine this in Gala rogue with Wand to draw Gala for free instantly.

This is insane for Aggro Decks, Questlock, Mage & Priest, the list goes on and on…
    For Example:
In Murloc Paladin: At the start of your next Turn, draw Tip the Scales!
In Mage & Priest: At the start of your next Turn, draw your Ultimate Removal (Reno/Plague of Death)
In Questlock: At the start of your next turn, draw a Scrapyard Colossus. Your Hero Power draws a 0-Cost Malygos.
In Dragon Hunter: At the start of your next turn, draw Big old Whelp or Rotnest Drake
Also, this + Nozdormu the Timeless in Pure Libram Paladin!
Aaaand last but not least: 4 Mana 4/5 is a strong statline.

For WoW Scholo fans like me: it is nice to have another Scholo Boss as Legendary and another character that was only known as Undead in WoW still alive. Also, it is quite ironic how the weakest of the 6 Pre-Gandling Bosses gets such a strong effect. I really hope Lord Alexei Barov and Lady Illucia Barov get cards too!

I agree with most of your points, but as an aggro deck, you’re not looking to draw a tip the scales or any other heavy card, you just hope to draw into it in the late game. Also not many aggro decks plan for future turns by sacrificing tempo for normal statted 4 drop.

I don’t think you’d want to put this neutral card in your pure paladin deck.

        July 24, 2020 at 12:58 pm

Whops, right ^^’ But if Highlander Paladin becomes a thing, the Nozdormu Combo could make it into some lists. I just wish Nozdormu would finally be played….

Maybe, but putting Zephrys and Finley at the bottom of your deck seems pretty meh… you’d need to have a way of tutoring them out.

      July 24, 2020 at 3:22 pm

My favourite: Put it in DH, play it turn 5, draw Skull’dan next turn, and you’re sure to get the 3 mana discount on all draws (though you might draw the second Skull’dan, but a 3 mana: draw 3 isn’t that bad neither, if you can’t get it to Outcast again).

My favourite is in wild, this + Holy Wrath + Molten Giant/Shirvallah

Also draws you Altruis with the skull… that sounds really scary!

This can be great in discard warlock to tutor hand of Guldan,
In HighLander hunter also good to get your finishers (Bran, Prime, Dragon Queen)

Very interesting card and finally a card with strong effect that doesn’t cost 7+ to use.

No idea how exactly people will abuse this but this will certainly create some game breaking combo at one point.

This is great in DH on turn 5 – you fetch Skull on 6 and you guarantee maximum discount of 9 mana by skull.

This card tutors Shadowreaper Anduin and secures you a lategame with cheap cards to use with voidform.

    5/5 in wild.
