    I love this! I've always wanted an effect like this. This will probably be played in tempo DH more than anything but I'm sot sire if it's good enough to replace anything but I hope it gets lots of play

    Great counter to Libram Paladin and Taunt-heavy decks, but with a 2/3 statline you dont really want to use this in an Aggro Deck while Control prefers Consume Magic for Card Draw.
    But this one mostly depends on the Meta: If silence is very important, this will see play. Spellbreaker was successful too and it was also understated (4 Mana 4/3). So I give it 3 Stars.

    And by the way: On one hand, I'm happy Demon Hunter Cards are (at first glance) terrible this expansion, but on the other hand they have super cool effects. I really wish they would've used them for release and made them powerful (this as 4/3 for example) instead of cards like Glaivebound Adept, Battlefiend, Satyr Overseer, ectr.

    This is the most powercreeped Ironbeak owl I have ever imagined. May seem insignificant but i would prefer this much more if it was a 2/2.
    4 insane silence cards for DH? Taunt won't even matter...

    Illidan isn’t running Consume Magic right now so I’m not so sure he would run this. It’s nice to silence a taunt, but this’ll probably just die in the counterattack. It’s quite good against Primes but is that important enough to run this? I’m skeptical.

    I'm just gonna say it right off thank goodness this isn't a warrior card give it sweep and you silence 3 minions.

    Also this is a nice card it can be used to silence a minion and true it may die doing it but it could also kill some deathrattle minions and shutdown their effect as well.

      I don't think Sweep interacts with this as you think. When Magehunter attacks a minion, it silences it. And Magehunter deals damage to the minions next to the ones it attacks, but it still attacks only one minion. What you think of is "When Magehunter damages a minions, Silence it."

        This. Same thing with cards like Kargath Prime, you can't get +30 armor by giving him sweeping strikes.

    Might not be the most amazing card ever, but if highlander DH becomes a thing this will definitely see use just like Spellbreaker did.

    Eeeeh.. I don't know, I'm actually on the Neutral side with magehunter. I get that it replaces Owl by a mile, but If you want to silence something, just use Consume Magic. Or Get 1 Consume Magic and 1 Magehunter. I don't think having 2 of both is beneficial as you think, unless your fighting against taunt decks. Not to mention it's either going to be used to take down Totems, a Treatening board in the early game, or if you see leatal but a taunt's in the way. I can see the uses, but 3 mana is a bit much. Had they buffed to a 2 mana 2/1 instead, that it would had gotten more praise. 3 Stars.

      I’m not sure it even replaces Owl by a mile... it can get hung up on Taunts, and isn’t likely to survive its first trade. Clearly it has a bit of upside compared to Owl, but I think I’d still rather have a guaranteed 2/1 that can just hit anything.

    Earth Shock does this but so much better. You're paying 3 mana for a card that does 1 more damage than a 1 mana card. Demon Hunter will not cut a slot for this card.

    This has been used in Grandmasters, maybe not as bad as people thought? I use one in my Tempo DH, great for silencing Kharthut's and Convincing Infiltrators.
