Yeah, I like long games that go to fatigue from time to time, but playing CW on ladder is not fun in the current state IMO :/

Yeah, Grom is not a good craft right now. Big Warrior is the only deck he sees play in and, as you can see, it’s not the best deck on the ladder.

You can definitely replace him with Ysera. Grom is a more tempo option, while Ysera gives you lots of value vs Control. Summoning two Yseras with RIpper can really overwhelm a Control Warrior, but they’re a bit too slow vs Aggro.

Mostly a fun deck, but author hit Legend with it, so it HAS some potential. It’s not like you will lose every game with it, but it’s definitely weaker than the popular meta decks.

Yes, you’re right, and it’s discussed on the deck’s page! If you have Vargoth (and everyone who plays the game right now does), replace Cult Master with it.

However, it’s a limited time promotion (you can only get it until July AFAIK), so it’s better to not assume that everyone has it in case someone checks out the budget guides after it runs out 🙂

As for the deck titles, you can switch to landscape mode to see the full title. It works for me on Android at least. Is there an issue with it on iPhone?

And in any case, you can still click link next to the “Source” to see the original posting of the deck. I try to put it when someone has shared it (it’s not there if e.g. the rank was achieved on stream and the streamer didn’t share it anywhere).

I know, but it’s mostly a SEO thing. Even though we have a lot of dedicated viewers, most of our views still come from random google searches, and we already have this post quite high when you look for the HS meta tier list (and a few other things). Making a new post every time would hurt that.

Also, I think that reading old comments to see what people thought of previous metas can be quite fun if anything. I’ll ask devs if there’s some way to e.g. black out outdated comments after update so they would be easily distinguishable.

Dragon Paladin turned out to be much weaker than suspected, There just aren’t enough synergies, and we don’t have anything REALLY powerful that would carry the deck. E.g. if Paladin got some Dragon synergy on the level of Drakonid Operative or Duskbreaker, then it would be an incentive to run Dragons. Right now, the best one we have is a 2 mana 2/2 with DS and Taunt – it’s good, but not good enough (especially since 2 health minions aren’t particularly popular in the early game and it often dies without getting good trades).

I literally took the #1 win rate list from the last 3 days at Ranks 5-Legend. And I’ve seen some pros using it too.

Most commonly, that slot is dedicated to Ooze, which is also a tech card. Ooze is mostly a tech card vs Rogue and Warrior, while Zilliax is a tech card vs Rogue, Warlock (Zoo) and Shaman (Murloc). So it really depends on what you see more on the ladder.

In general, it’s the 30th card in the list, so the easiest one to cut – feel free to just play anything you prefer in that slot instead.

In the current state, the deck is definitely capable of hitting Legend. I’d say that it’s a low Tier 2 deck, so not one of the best, but good enough. However, keep in mind that we’re just 1 week into the expansion, so the meta still can change heavily. Which can make the deck better, but it can also make it even worse.

You think that new decks are disgusting to play against, but they aren’t even remotely as strong as the best decks we had pre-rotation. The overall power level has went down a lot, and I mean A LOT after the rotation. Rise of Shadows cards alone are nearly not enough for the meta to have a higher power than when Un’Goro, Frozen Throne, Kobolds AND Baku/Genn were still there.

So that’s your answer – decks that were Tier 3-4 before rotation but didn’t really lose anything can be Tier 1-2 now just because of the power level change.

I’m so silly, the deck is supposed to be HUNTER not WARRIOR and I’ve listed it as Warrior so that’s why the class cards were missing. Fixed it now, sorry.
