Decks You Can Try Before Year of the Dragon Standard Rotation - Part 2 (Odd & Even)

I agree, I will also miss some of them. Mainly Odd Mage (slower version), Even Warlock and Odd Warrior. Those three were my favorite Odd/Even decks. But the change is healthy for the Standard, so I will get over them quickly. It will open so many possibilities. At this point I don’t even care that much about the new expansion – rotation alone will change THAT much.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think that Golden Baku/Genn do make your Hero Power Golden too.

Rise of Shadows Card Reveal Schedule

Because there’s just one card on March 21st (today) and then a longer break until Monday’s reveal stream. Reveal season is usually the period when multiple cards are dropped every day. It starts with a stream showcasing a bunch of cards and then – again – ends with a stream showing the rest of the set.

But it’s just a matter of how you want to call it, to be honest. You could theoretically call the entire period since the first announcement a “reveal season”, but the definition above is most common.

I’m not sure if I understand the question. You mean that if you play a Golden Baku/Genn in your deck, is your Hero Golden? Then the answer is no.

Decks You Can Try Before Year of the Dragon Standard Rotation - Part 1 (Regular Decks)

It’s always sad to see your cards go, but it’s for the best. Without rotations, either they would need to increase the power level of new cards all the time to make them relevant, or meta would stay roughly the same after a while.

And Wild is more fun than you might think, for some reason a lot of new players are scared of that format, and that’s wrong! Yes, it’s more expensive to get into if you don’t own any cards, but if you’ve been playing the game for 2 years, building a deck or two shouldn’t be that hard. And your decks stay relevant for longer there. E.g. I’ve been playing a Reno Warlock deck for the last 2 years in Wild, and while it has changed a bit, it wasn’t much. After building a few decks I could easily maintain them without spending any money on the game.

It’s better to buy packs if you want full value. But buying solo content gives you… hours of fun with solo content if that’s your thing.

But if you’re spending real money, it’s worth it. 15 packs cost $19.99 anyway.

We don’t know that yet, but probably soon. My guess would be reveal stream next either upcoming Friday (22nd) or Monday (25th) and then reveal season right after until April 7th.

Yeah, but those aren’t the expansion card packs, those are from the “goodbye to year of the mammoth” event or something (and we’ve covered that in another post). But they are always giving out some free packs at the start of expansion, so it would be weird if they didn’t.

Jasper* a typo. I’ve been writing too much about Hunter Spellstone lately, and both are green, lol. Fixed it.

Dragon Paladin - Rastakhan 2nd Nerf - #67 Legend (Tars)

I didn’t notice that, but still, winning 4 games in high Legend in a row means that the deck at least somewhat works and is not completely unplayable.

Sample sizes in high Legend are often pretty small. If someone plays 10 games and not 4 you could still say that he just got lucky. But that’s just part of HS.

I’d let it stay, because it’s still a fun deck. Let people decide for themselves if they want to play it (and I doubt that anyone will commit with serious crafting that early before rotation).

You Can Now Get The HCT 2019 World Championship Tickets!

“The “Thrill of Victory” card back will be issued to eligible Blizzard Battle.net accounts within 30 working days after the HCT 2019 World Championship event. Card backs must be claimed onsite and will be delivered to the associated Battle.net account of each eligible ticket.”

From the post.

I did edit the passage at the top, because I was just summarizing. I didn’t think that people will go ahead and buy tickets without a way to participate. But I’m pretty sure that you should still be able to refund it.
