Key Cards Rotating Out in 2021 (Year of the Gryphon) - Part 1 (Neutral Cards)
If you play Standard and only Standard – probably you can just dust them.
If you play Wild – ehhh, maybe. Keep in mind that Core Set will rotate yearly, around 30% of it according to the devs, so next year we’ll have ~80 different cards in it. The cards that rotate out of Core Set will disappear from your collection – so if you e.g. disenchanted a card that’s good in Wild, you will have to craft it again.
And if you want to play Classic – no, because Core Set versions won’t be playable in Classic.
In general, I’m not a big fan of disenchanting cards, especially now that we know that Blizzard is pumping new game modes / formats like crazy. We might get something interesting that uses those old cards later down the road.

Core Set cards will be separate. So if you already have 2x Coldarra Drake (or any other card), you will still own them, and you will get 2x Coldarra Drake from Core Set 2021.
You can now own up to 8 copies of the same card – 2x regular & 2x golden from the old versions and 2x regular + 2x golden from Core Set. And yes, all of those copies will get buffed.
Assuming that Coldarra Drake leaves Core Set next year, the Core Set version will disappear from your collection, but you will still own the old ones you did previously.
But yes, I can see how it can get pretty confusing. It will be much easier to understand once everything goes live.
Core Set 2022 Guide - How to Obtain It, How it Works, Full List of Cards
I’m currently writing a series of articles covering all the important cards that are leaving – including Basic/Classic and Year of the Dragon. By important I mean those who have seen some meta play. I won’t have one for only Basic & Classic, but there was a great infographic on reddit showcasing those: https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/lsurm8/all_card_changes_buffsnerfs_cards_leaving_cards/

“Are we getting Dust for Cho, Nat Pagle and all the other Classics leaving?”
I’m afraid not, we’re getting Core Set for free and that’s the compensation.
I would like to get Dust, of course, but I’m sure that it would be too much for them to give out just like that.

That was the plan from the get-go – DH only got extra cards during Year of the Phoenix. Starting with Year of the Gryphon, they will get the same amount of cards as other classes.

Just updated the post – they’ve temporarily locked the packs until they fix this bug!
Deciphering the Year of the Gryphon Expansion Teasers - What We Know so Far About Upcoming Expansions
Nah, definitely not, they won’t release mini-set AND paid adventure, that would be too much. They’re committed to mini-sets every expansion now.
Selective Breeder
Guardian Animals pulls Beasts from your deck, not hand. Drawing your Beasts is something you don’t want to do when you play Guardian Animals deck 🙂 But GA is most likely too expensive for Hunter anyway.
Leoroxx is a nice combo, though.
Core Set 2022 Guide - How to Obtain It, How it Works, Full List of Cards
Your old Classic cards stay exactly the way they are, they just become a part of Legacy Set in the Wild. Core Set cards are extra, SEPARATE cards. So you don’t need to worry about disenchanting anything for now.

I think that after new cards (like the new Legendary Dragons) are out of the Core Set, they rotate out to Wild AFAIK. But I’m not 100% sure.

The ones you get from Core Set will be separate from the ones you own and “temporary”.
You will still have your own Grommash, and then will get a new, free version playable in Core Set that might disappear next year (if they decide to rotate it out and add something else instead).
If you’re interested in Wild and the upcoming Classic format, you should probably keep your old cards, since they might be useful after rotating out of Core Set.

I put 4 slots in all Neutral rarities, because I simply don’t know the rarity distribution – it’s just a placeholder 🙂
Last year we had less Neutral cards, because Demon Hunter was getting extras since it was a new class and needed to catch up. This year Demon Hunter will get the regular 10 cards, so we will probably have some extra Neutrals – but I don’t know how many of each rarity.
Tavern Brawl - Cart Crash at the Crossroads
The first one you pick is your main Hero – you get its Hero Power, you Discover cards from that class etc. The one you pick at the start of the match is just for the 11 random cards.

It needs to survive. Probably would be too strong if it didn’t 🙂

Core Set cards will be separate from your current Classic cards. Nothing happens with the cards you currently own 🙂
Core Set Wishes and Predictions: What Cards Would You Want to See in the Core Set?
Yes, you can. But they will also be playable in Classic format. So I would disenchant them only if you’re sure that you won’t play Wild, Classic or maybe some other formats that might come out in the future and use them.
Lord Jaraxxus Will Become a Hero Card In Core Set
Maybe they will increase max health to 20 and give the usual +5 Armor from Hero cards? Hard to say, but they will definitely need to buff it a bit for it to see play.

Yeah, Frenzy is very close to Enrage in how it works. Upgrading spells are quite different from Scheme cards if that’s what you mean. Spell Schools sound really fun given that they apply retroactively to all spells, which means that we might get more synergies in future expansions. And about Shaman being only Nature – mostly yes, but not only. There are some Fire and Frost spells too. E.g. Lava Burst, Molten Blast for Fire and Frost Shock or Invocation of Frost for Frost.
Pauper format is not a bad idea, but the biggest issue is that the game rarities were never balanced with it in mind, it would make some strategies really broken compared to others. Some decks like Face Hunter or Aggro Demon Hunter that need no expensive cards would just absolutely dominate. At the same time, many classes would be completely unplayable, since they rely on certain Epics/Legendaries.

We’ll see, it depends on whether Blizzard gives us some codes.

Honestly, I have to disagree with you. Deck tracker is not just a function they can add and forget about it. If it’s official, they would need to support it on all systems – PC, MacOS, Android, iOS. They would also have to constantly keep it up to date on all four, work on any bugs that come with new releases, keep adding new features (because if they make it really basic, then why use it over the unofficial one?) Long story short, it’s thousands of hours of development time that could be spent elsewhere.
We don’t live in the world where additional functions are in the vacuum and devs have unlimited resources – spending so much time on this would mean less time for new game modes, less time for fixing other bugs, less time for other UI changes and so on. And I feel like those are simply more important.
Casual players don’t care about it anyway (the majority of playerbase doesn’t use it – HS deck tracker has “only” ~450k users out of 20mil+ players) and people who do can just download it like they do right now. Developing an official deck tracker would be a very expensive solution to a problem that isn’t there.
