From Dungeons to Duels: Revisiting Monster Hunt and the Puzzle Labs
I’ve seen that idea the first time Puzzle Labs were released and I still agree with it wholeheartedly! It would be amazing! But I guess that giving the player tools to create new puzzles would be too much dev time.
Chinese Card Back Design Competition Finalists - Winner Will Get Added To The Game!
I didn’t see any English translation, sadly. I used Google Translate on this page and while it’s not perfect, it’s readable: https://yx.blizzard.cn/news/detail/105/48861
Token Druid Deck List & Guide โ Darkmoon Faire โ February 2021
Treenforcements, Guess the Weight or BEEEES. Guess the Weight is the best if you face more slow decks, BEEES if you face aggressive ones, and Treenforcements is somewhere in between.
Rising Winds is good because of flexibility between card draw and board presence, but it’s not a key card ๐
Dean "Iksar" Ayala's Twitter Q&A - February 3, 2021 - Roundup of All Answers - Classic Rework, Hero Portrait Crafting, Alternate Artworks, Expansion Release Date, 2v2 Mode
Maybe if we keep asking about dog expansion, they will eventually deliver ๐
Dean "Iksar" Ayala's Twitter Q&A - February 3, 2021 - Roundup of All Answers - Classic Rework, Hero Portrait Crafting, Alternate Artworks, Expansion Release Date, 2v2 Mode
At least Hunter had a proactive plan and Deathstalker Rexxar was only a backup.
Book of Heroes (Anduin) + SI:7 Anduin Bundle Have Been Released!
Book of Heroes adventures giving 5 packs would definitely be nice ๐
Heroic Duels Has Been Temporarily Disabled (Update: It's Back Up!)
Arena is locked – as in you can’t draft new decks – shortly before season changes. But other than that, I don’t believe it’s closed at any time.
But yeah, Heroic Duels should normally work all the time, it was just temporarily disabled due to some bugs ๐
Book of Heroes (Anduin) + SI:7 Anduin Bundle Have Been Released!
Yeah, adventure only gives 1 pack, so it’s 6 in total if you buy the bundle.
Get Ready For BlizzConline - February 19-20 - More Information About The Event!
Probably yes. Normally BlizzCons go for ~10 hours each day. We’ll know more when we see a full schedule, maybe this one will be shorter, but I expect at least 8 hours on both days.
That said, even if you miss it live, you can always watch the VoDs!
Heroic Duels Has Been Temporarily Disabled (Update: It's Back Up!)
Oh yeah, I agree, the mode is really fun to play, but mostly when you get lucky and end up with treasures / passives / deck that all synergize with each other. The main issue is that it feels really bad when you end up with a bunch of treasures that don’t belong in your deck and then lose quickly when you face decks that actually work.
Doing crazy things is fun, but not when only your opponent is doing them ๐
Heroic Duels Has Been Temporarily Disabled (Update: It's Back Up!)
The price & reward structure in Heroic Duels is exactly the same as Arena.
Heroic Duels Has Been Temporarily Disabled (Update: It's Back Up!)
There were some stats on reddit that have shown that regular Duels is the least popular free game mode (so not counting Arena). And since Heroic Duels is paid, it’s definitely even less popular.
But it was mostly a joke.
Blizzard's 30th Anniversary - Commemorative "Celebration Bundles" With Loot For Multiple Games Available For Purchase
Yeah, my conclusion is that you need to be playing at least two of those games to even consider getting the bundle, and three or more for it to be a nice deal. It’s definitely not worth it for Hearthstone alone.
I also wish they gave us some unique cosmetic reward in Hearthstone like in all other games instead of just cards ๐
Get Ready For BlizzConline - February 19-20 - More Information About The Event!
What do you mean by 2 AM? The event starts at 2 PM ๐
And yeah, expansion announcement would make sense. Darkmoon Faire released mid-November, so the next expansion releases mid-March (at least it should). It was also announced on October 22, so making the announcement on February 19 would make it basically the same.
Given that it’s a bigger event, I hope for both expansion and game mode announcements. Or maybe some info about the teased Classic set overhaul?
Ramp Paladin Deck List & Guide โ Darkmoon Faire โ February 2021
It’s a trade-off – Amalgams make Redscale Dragontamer and Y’Shaarj worse (compared to Strongman), but on the other hand improve your N’Zoth and more importantly Tip the Scales. For now both versions have basically the same win rate, but the deck is still obviously being optimized.
Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks - Darkmoon Faire Week 11 - January 2021
The deck is fun to play and powerful, but that’s a lot of Dust. I would probably go for it only if I had a lot to spare Dust given how likely it is to get nerfed + that it rotates out soon :p
Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks - Darkmoon Faire Week 11 - January 2021
Well yeah, but the deck had a pretty low win rate overall despite that. Zoo Warlock / Reno Priest still had a higher WR than Tiller builds.
And I felt the same when playing against them – they were more annoying, not necessarily overpowered. They focused so much on drawing and didn’t have THAT much removals, so you could often kill them before the combo happened.
They would most likely turn out to be better after getting optimized, but early stats didn’t indicate that they were a problem (WR-wise, not popularity-wise).

(Update - Players No Longer Getting Quests) "Happy New Year" Legendary Quests Are Out Now - Get 9 Packs in Total For Finishing All Three
I don’t know how they work now, but in the old system you couldn’t just concede them right away. You had to play the game for X turns before it counted.
Like, I remember specifically not conceding when I had for example Play X games as Warlock because sometimes when I conceded even around T6-T7 it didn’t count.
Because of that, I haven’t actually tested it, I thought that you still have to play through the game before conceding counts.
With the upcoming Standard rotation, so shortly before the next expansion releases. We don’t know the exact date yet.
