Five New Hero Skins Added In Patch 19.4 - Including (Finally) a New Rogue Portrait!
No info yet, my guess would be that they’re Lunar (Chinese) New Year bundles?
Darkmoon Races Mini-Set Early Meta Decks - Hearthstone Pro & Streamer Legend Deck Lists, Deck Ideas, Decks for All Classes!
It’s a visual bug, Rally is a Rare card but it appears as a Common. It will be fixed soon 🙂
What Is the Best Way to Get the Darkmoon Races Mini-Set Cards?
Yeah, with 15 packs you’re basically in the middle between “it’s worth to spend 2k” and “you should open the packs you’ve saved”, so it’s tough.
You can always wait a few days and see whether the new Legendaries end up seeing play. If not, then it might be worth it to just open your packs to get all Commons, most of the Rares, and maybe craft a couple of Rares that end up seeing play and you’re missing.
19.4 Patch Notes - Darkmoon Races Mini-Set, Two BG Heroes, Two BG Minions, Duels Update, Arena Rotation - January 21
I’ll definitely try, but no idea.
"Darkmoon Races" Hearthstone Mini-Set Launches January 21, 35 New Cards, Full Set Available For $14.99 or 2000 Gold
Yes, you get a full playset of everything (so 2 Commons, 2 Rares, 2 Epics & 1 Legendary).
"Darkmoon Races" Hearthstone Mini-Set Launches January 21, 35 New Cards, Full Set Available For $14.99 or 2000 Gold
Yes, it’s definitely more worth it to buy it with 2k gold than 20 packs.

You will be at the same level – only the XP you gained after you bought it (and claimed the boosts) will get increased.
That’s why it’s worth to buy it right after a new rewards track, not mid-expansion. It might still be okay, because you should still get like at least 1-1.5k more gold from XP boost + all the cosmetics, but it’s up to you.

WIth 13 packs you won’t even get all Rares. Probably all Commons, but it depends on how many of them are in the set. Then 2-3 Epics and 0 Legendaries on average (unless you get lucky).

2k gold is definitely a more efficient way to get the entire set than packs. Even with just 2 Legendaries, you would need to get EXTREMELY lucky to get both of them in 20 packs (and that’s assuming you already have all of the previous Darkmoon Legendaries, otherwise you could unpack some of those).
But lots of players already hoarded packs, so for them it might be worth it more to get it from packs (e.g. I have 50+ DF packs lol).
P.S. We’ll have an article about the economic side of the mini-set, probably tomorrow!

I’m holding onto like 50 DF packs because I thought that we’ll need to unpack all the new cards 😀 If I knew I would just spend less gold on launch and keep that 2k for the mini-set. But well, at least now I’ll know for the future.
Hearthstone’s Classic Legendaries: Where Are They Now?
Hahah, I also remember unpacking Hogger back in the Beta, shortly after I started playing. The card looked so OP I put it into every single deck. INFINITE VALUE, amrite? And it actually was working really well back when most people were playing bad homebrew decks. Fun times.

I was thinking that they might give the new core set for free to everyone like I’ve mentioned in another comment. Again, it’s just something I’m hoping they do, but it would make most sense.
And I’m not really worried, because if it’s terrible and people don’t like it, there will be another outrage and they will be forced to change it again… In the end, new progression system turned out to be much better than the old one, so it was worth it.
But let’s wait until they announce it before judging it, okay? I can’t talk about something that we don’t have any information about.
Iksar's Twitter Q&A - January 13, 2021 - Roundup of All Answers
I’ve seen it, but I try to not post any leaks, only official, confirmed info. But if that’s true, then it’s really affordable.
We’ll see next week anyway 🙂
Iksar's Twitter Q&A - January 13, 2021 - Roundup of All Answers
I don’t know where you got that from (that they’re leaving the game with only expansions). I’m 99.9% sure that they won’t just take away Classic and leave the game without it… It would be the most stupid thing they can do and I’m sure they know that.
And they probably wouldn’t call just removing a Classic set a “rework”, lol.
Iksar's Twitter Q&A - January 13, 2021 - Roundup of All Answers
You know what, I agree, but it’s more of an universal truth. Never trust something until you see it 🙂 It has been proven time and time again to not buy into hype about anything and just wait until it’s out and then judge it.
That said, if anything, I believe that because of the Battle Pass outrage they will NOT do the same thing again just few months later. They’ve seen how the community can react if something is taken away from them and they get a worse outcome. They just can’t afford to make the same mistake again so soon.
I really think that we’ll get a core set for free or something similar (and that’s why they won’t compensate for HoF, because we get new “replacements” for free). Of course I’m not saying that it will 100% happen because I just don’t know, but it would make most sense for me.
In this case, Iksar said that it’s complicated and he can’t answer the question just because he doesn’t want to spoil anything before official announcement – the fact that they’ve teased it in the first place is already kind of surprising.

I know that many people hated Raza Priest (and many still do in Wild), but it was one of my favorite decks ever. There was just something really fun about shooting your Hero Power like a machine gun.
It would be interesting if Priest had an option to take a more offensive route instead of constantly relying on Control and big minions / resurrecting strategies.
Iksar's Twitter Q&A - January 13, 2021 - Roundup of All Answers
To be honest, even if someone asks (and many people do), it’s not like Iksar can answer the question. We just had a huge drama around Battle Pass and I’m sure that they no longer want to promise players anything if they aren’t 100% sure that they will deliver. The only thing he could say is some PR statement that doesn’t tell us anything.
Plus, he’s a designer, so he’s mostly responsible for things like card mechanics, balance, game modes etc. and not necessarily monetization.

No news 🙁 I would also love to learn more, but they haven’t shared anything yet. We’ll post about it as soon as we learn something, though.
Whirlkick (Combo Miracle) Rogue Deck List & Guide – Darkmoon Faire – January 2021
I’ve seen some people cutting it for SI:7 too.
I still think that Edwin is the way to go, but it’s no longer a staple it used to be. Honestly, this nerf worked better than I suspected – I thought that it would be unplayable at 4, and it turns out to be just fine (at least in this specific deck).
Sadly we have no info, but it should be soon!
