9.5 – 6 isn’t 2.5. You get a buffed minion on 7, 8, 9 and half of one on 9.5 🙂 Also I’ve played plenty of 18 turn games with spiteful priest. It’s ok if some games end before you get to the end of your curve.

I still think it has potential in a tempo deck like spiteful if the dragon package falls apart for a while.

This is like “impractical as rin” bad and most of the time the meta doesn’t shift enough to change that.

Good point about twilight acolyte but the rest isn’t really that well thought out. Shadow visions rotated out so who cares if it fits in combo priest. There are going to be new archetypes.

Have you played control priest vs warlock. Stealing a guldan is pretty good.

Auto include for control vs control. In the fatigue matchups you can pretty much choose the best card in their deck. Not a huge liability vs agro since it at least gives you a little something to fight for the board and slow them down a bit early. One downside of these cards is they don’t transform the turn they are drawn and are dead cards for the first turn but the positives seem to outweigh that.

and fireball. Because a 3 mana firefly is basically the same as fireball.

If you want filler cards play the actually decent ones like you mentioned. Stuff like firefly and stonehill.

2/2 would be a massive difference. Then people would actually be comparing it to igneous.

The pool is hugely defined already, this set won’t make a splash. The upside/downside doesn’t matter, just the average and the average is this gives you 2 flame eles.

I’d be shocked if any pro thought firefly was trash when it was revealed. This is firefly but you pay triple just for 1 extra 1/2.

It probably makes the cut in hunter quest if it was magically somehow a thing.

No seadevil into finja combo?

Not sure it fits in control but definitely decent in a tempo deck. Even Warlock always has free voidwalkers for him to farm.
