Mulligans

General Mulligans

Holy wrath is really the only card you want the mulligan for. Howling and Piper are nice to have but not necessarily necessary. consecration and stonehill are good against aggro. Divine and/or equality is nice against control.

While playing a more classic version of this deck, I found that I got really unlucky and when I needed that last OTK piece I just couldn’t draw it so I put some tutors for Banker and Shirvallah. I still need to draw Wrath naturally.

Once I added the tutors my win-rate sky rocketed to a surprising 65% (much more than I expected). This was mainly due to me getting the combo all set up way before the opponents expected it. If you need more draw power feel free to replace stonehill, it’s only there as a filler for me.

You don’t need to wait till fatigue for you to draw the very last combo piece which means you can worry about controlling the board and surviving rather than drawing that one elek, banker or Shirvallah.

Replace Divine Favor for Crystalsmith Kangor? I haven’t played with Divine Favor but it seems to me you’ll be drawing reasonably well and lifesteal weapon combo with Kangor heals for 10 (among other heals Flash of Light is no 2-cost 8 heal + draw)

Thats true I think it was really just my Butt luck with opponent at 8-10 cards and me with 2-3 because I tend to overplay cards a lot. I used to have Kangor but I replaced it when for me card advantage just was better at that point.
