Introduction:

Hey, everyone! This is my DK Valuelock, deck, that’s supposed to have only one win condition – outvaluing your opponent. With cards like Elise, Kazakus, Lich King, Jarraxus and DK Gul’Dan it’s easy, but getting until this point of the game, where you can play all those thing it’s not. That’s why we run many taunts, boardclears and heals. 

Staples in Valuelock:

• Kazakus – Kaza’s potions can really get you ahead or get you out of sticky situation if crafted good.
• Elise The Trailblazer – 5 mana 5/5 is already decent. 2 mana draw 5 cards is INSANE!
• The Lich King – Taunt, decent stats, great effect and badass character in only one card. What do you want more?
• Lord Jarraxus – This card is really good at closing games with the infinite 6/6s and the 3/8 weapon.
• Bloodreaver Gul’Dan – If played after Jarraxus, the game is desided! Reviving the dead 6/6s and staying with the weapon + getting 5 armor and great hero power is enough to make the enemy concede.

What should you be doing to win:

• Mulligan some early removals and taunts, like Drain Soul and Tar Creeper
• Play your staples carefully and in right order (playing DK before Jarraxus is REALLY bad. Not recommended)
• Do not hesitate board clears/wipes, because you have a lot! (Drake, Twisting Nether, Shadowflame, etc.)
• If you are in lead, do not throw it! You don’t want to play 5 cards and then get boardcleared. You want to get the most possible amount of value from every card.

Conclusion:

Valuelock is a control deck, that (in theory) is supposed to reach the lategame and destroy the enemy with huge finishers and tempo plays. If piloted right, it should have some success and be quite fun to play at the same time! Thank you for your attention 🙂
