Mulligans

General Mulligans

"No weapons = No Tempo" is a general rule that always follow Tempo Warrior around.

Aggro Mulligans

Versus Pirates and Token Druid, Cruel Taskmaster and Ravaging Ghoul are game changers and can often swing the board into your favor as early as turn 2-3. Assuming you also got a  Pirate on the board yourself. If they're chasing you by that point and you get to decide the trades they have very few ways to come back.

Control Mulligans

As a general rule, you want to allude to you playing Pirate warrior if possible. This to make them (Hopefully) make poor trades thinking you'll fizzle out a lot earlier then you should. Try to find the plays that make them use removal to early to deal with things like Cairne or Direhorn.

  Introduction

This is a Tempo-oriented deck I created, based on elements from both N’zoth Control and a few Tempo decks that popped up for a while.  A major different from most Tempo Warrior lists is the early game pirates. An idea (I believe) I saw Thijs use back in April. Together with Patches it can create Early game presence on the board, something that has been very strong versus both Token Druid and Pirate Warrior. This often alludes to you playing aggro the first few turns, which means a lot of players do trades that isn’t favorable going into turns 6-7.The Pirate concept I might change in future iterations of the deck, but I like it for now.

I created this deck as I felt that I needed a change from all the current meta decks, that felt really repetitive and the ladder-grind got dull really fast. Obviously I hope people find this deck interesting and want to give it a spin.

 Changes

-1 Blood To Ichor +1 Cruel Taskmaster

-2 Loot Hoarder +2 Acolyte of Pain. I feel Acolyte of Pain  will more consistently draw cards then Loot Hoarder, even when factoring in N'Zoth, The Corruptor.
