Primary goal of the deck is to control the board in the late game. Your death pool is your final move with Archmage Vargoth, Catrina Muerte and Mass Resurrection. The Obelisk Quest is not the primary goal but it is just a helpful tool to avoid damege and boost your minions. This deck was made before the Saviours of Uldum expansion but it was modified when the guest came out.
