first up firefly. oooh boy this card is a must have for early game tempo, you really don't have much else.
I wouldn't really suggest keeping prep or backstab unless you want to hit SI or Academic early on, unless you swap out face collector for Edwin.
I haven't taken account into finding the cutlasses yet, could potentially be a problem worth dropping shiv for, although that leaves you with only sap for two drops.
When I got into the boomsday competitive scene I was surprised to see the overwhelming lack of thief rouge decks. I couldn’t find one that seems to get all of it right, so I finally settled on a combination of them all I liked.
Obviously thief rouge is a very opinionated, for lack of a better term, deck, meaning that some of these cards I prefer and you wouldn’t: IE Face Collector for Edwin.
I highly suggest you don’t even bother with unstable element, as it can just completely throw your game, while gadgetzan auctioneer does the same thing with less recklessness.
The addition of the Spectral cutlass was one I was surprised not to find in many other decks, due to academic espionage being PERFECT for this card.
besides all the substitute cards, you play it like a normal thief deck, keep firefly for aggro and si on coin etc.
I hope this deck can help fill the void of weak, repetitive otk and aggro that’s haunting the meta.
