Exodia Mage is back –

Mage

Play Luna's Pocket Galaxy to reduce the cost of Archmage Antonidas and then make 4 Sorcerer's Apprentice.

If you draw Antonidas before LPG against a Control/Combo deck, shuffle it back in your deck with Baleful Banker.

Against most Aggro decks, playing Tony with a Frost Nova should be game, obviously this is a risky, desperate play. However the deck has many stall options: Arcane Artificer,  Frost Nova, BlizzardDoomsayer and new from the Boomsday Giggling Inventor. Also has spot removal of Snap Freeze and the ability to generate resources from Primordial Glyph

The deck also has Arcane Intellect and Research Project to draw through the deck quickly to find the combo pieces. Research Project’s downside of drawing your opponent cards usually doesn’t matter because you are playing Exodia Mage, so the game will never be a resource battle however can be used as an upside against Even Warlock, Shudderwock Shaman to attempt to mill key cards.

I am sceptical about this list and whether or not it performs better than the Leyline ManipulatorSimulacrum Exodia Mage decklist, but I am excited to try it

Wouldn’t be better put 2 polymorph instead of snap freeze?

I value the cheapness of Snap Freeze. Hand size is usually an issue with Exodia Mage decks. Being able to play Snap Freeze along side a Frost Nova on turn 5 might end up being great or freeze the opponents face so a weapon cannot attack. However Polymorph is more versatile and doesn’t require another card to combo with.

I’ll solidify the list after Boomsday is released, I’ll test Polymorph in its place

      Thanks for the suggestion.
