Zoo deck with new rise of shadows cards. Notable inclusions are Rafaam, Hench-Clan Hag, Hench-Clan Hogsteed, Eager Underling, and Evil Genius from the new set.
Evil genius: This card is a lot of payoff for constructing our deck with a lot of disposable minions (i.e. Mecharoo, Hench-Clan Hogsteed, etc.). Lackeys provide a lot of gas and can be extremely good in zoo. Evil genius also plays well with grim rally making the deck more cohesive.
Eager Underling: 1 mana cheaper Fungalmancer but it’s a deathrattle. The deathrattle is worse but our deck has 4 ways of triggering it for bonus value making it another payoff for going wide.
Hench-Clan Hogsteed: Not an amazing card, but there are a lack of 2 drops that are amazing and this one helps contest the board and has a disposable body for Grim Rally and Evil Genius, so it makes the cut. Could be replaced with another pair of one drops or the Void Analyst (but I’m not a fan of Void Analyst).
Hench-Clan Hag: This is power creep on yeti, so we play it. In addition the stats are spread over three bodies allowing for more synergy with Grim Rally, Evil Genius, Dire Wolf, Sea Giant and Knife Juggler. 5/5 in this deck
Arch-Villain Rafaam: If all else goes wrong, slam Rafaam. Rafaam is here because his stats aren’t bad and he turns the puny minions in the deck into potential threats that the opponent has to deal with when we’re low on gas.
Tech Choices: Void Ripper and Black Knight seem like flex slots to me, they could be replaced. Mojomaster ZIhi, Spell breaker, Implosion(?) could fill in, just depends on the meta.
