Deathraggro Priest

Please note that I did not watch the streamers play (no hate against them, just wasn’t able to). Instead, my inspiration comes from a similar nzoth aggro priest I played in legend during the doom in the tomb event. The main idea is to play cheap deathrattle minions and trigger their deathrattles multiple times (wretched reclaimer and psychopomp was the initial build around card). Initially the deck curved up to finish with rag and nzoth, but now I think the curve should be lower to take advantage of the early buffs and especially reader. 

This expansion gives some strong deathrattle synergy (disciplinarian gangling and vectus). Their are also more tempo buff cards than before, gift of luminance, power word feast, and a huge buff to aggro in the form of voracious reader. 

The deck basically has 2 gameplans. First, playing deathrattle minions and triggering them. Things like grandmummy into reclaimer is strong. Otherwise the deck utilizes buffs to snowball on board. One nice synergy between these is that people don’t want to remove deathrattle minions, but failing to do so can result in punishing them with buffs. Lastly, the 4 drops gandling and amet very much appreciate the cheapness of the deck. 

Their are some problems I could see this deck having, however. One is the potential dominance of demon hunter, and this deck will have to find a way to not fall too far behind. In the past, this deck’s strategy was to try to go card for card with aggro, but by playying cards like loot hoarder you would eventually gain card advantage. Demon hunter has so much draw where this gameplan may not be feasibly. However, freshmen can help compete on board, and I think the addition of the burn deathrattles could try to take advatange of how much demon hunters use their face. The other problem is that this deck has a low curve and could potentially run out of steam if you don’t draw loot horders or readers for refill. However, one loot horder can be used many times, and voracious reader has a high potential.
